Glad you enjoyed it! It's a great game, isn't it? I played it twice through, I was so enamoured. The first run was quite terrifying in parts since I had no idea what to expect and there were points where I was literally crouching in fear for ten minutes trying to work out how to get out of the pickle I was in (death was the only option on several occasions ). Some of the areas are quite complex and finding your way around can be a challenge. It's such a short game I might just fire it up again once of these days, in between epics.

I'm with hagatha! I played it twice through because I was so enamoured too! I may have been more scared and paralyzed by fear several times the first time, but I think I made better choices the 2nd time.

In my second run I was much more able to strategize and get things to work out the way I wanted. I hope we get a second outing of a similar kind. I'd grab it in a heartbeat.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I also loved the original Prey. I remember that game, too. It was quite cool, and was my first real "shooter" style game I have no idea where it is now, though.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

The first Prey didn't click with me though I finished it. I went back into my game to check out a few areas I missed, like the phantoms in the upper area of Hardware. Only one there and my Q-beam made short work of him. I also wanted to check out different airlocks to see if I could find Kasper more easily. It took me forever when I exited in Shuttle Bay. I used several of the Typhon mods and they were very helpful. Talos seemed eerily empty. I will be playing the next Prey if it is anything like this one.
Now I am going on to Enderal, a more medieval rpg.

Hey, Pokey, I'm playing Enderal right now. Having a blast (with a few little frustrations along the way). Have you played it before? As usual I'm playing a thief/assassin/archer type with a bit of magic thrown in for good luck (and, boy have I needed my summonses in this game!) Now that I'm used to the skill/leveling system I'm quite liking it. Lots of choices to make. I found it a little bit too tough in my first go-round as a sneaksie backstabby dagger thief, and I've found life much easier as an archer, just FYI. Plus, there's nothing more satisfying in this game (and Skyrim) as the meaty "THUNK" of an arrow hitting its target from a cowardly distance.

Well, maybe we can start a thread. We haven't had one of those for a while.
I haven't played Nehrim, but it's coming to Steam soon (that's where I downloaded Enderal) so I'll be checking it out. It seems that Enderal is a continuation of the story.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Pokey, I do remember playing CoC back then. Now THAT was a terrifying game! I had to turn off the sound during my escape from Attack of the Fishmen. And then there was the infamous running away from the Tentacle monster, having to run and open doors and generally try to stay sane through it all. I'm not actually sure how I got through it since parts of the game were so difficult.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
