I'm sure someone, perhaps MoePerry or Elena (though I see she hasn't posted here for over a year now), has mentioned this site before. If you don't know about it then DEFINITELY check it out if you enjoy historical adventures.
It's both German and English, and has great synopses and screenshots, and also other useful info.. It covers multimedia as well as games and some great edutainment. The link to a Spanish palace virtual tour site was well-cool, and Elena's site outlines how you go about using that site too.

Hello Gelert! I also often visit Elena´s wunderfull homepage: http://www.history-adventures.com/There are so many infos and screenshots from historical adventures Even links to patches, walkthroughs and a message board is on Elena´s page. On her : Multimedia Page there are some interesting reviews over historical programms ( like puzzles ) For example about: Neuschwanstein Castle: the one and only original dream castle from King Ludwig Elena has done so much effort with the translation from her homepage into english. Friendly Greetings from Moe Perry

Hello friedmonky ! I have searched a while in the Internet and found two PC CD ROM about that Neuschwanstein Castle. Both Program are in English speech and you can order both also from the USA. They are on two German webpages that also ships to USA. This is the link to the order page from : Ludwig II - I, the king. Life, Castles, Music, Dynasty, Contemporary History There is even a video: "The Royal Castles" (PAL/german; PAL/english; NTSC/english) The video "The Royal Castles" is available in English in two different systems: PAL (for Great Britain, South Africa, etc.) and NTSC (for the USA, Canada and Japan). This is the link to the page with an e mail adress, where you can ask for further order details ( shipping and payment method ): E Mailadress for Order Details for Ludwig II - I, the king And here you can see a picture from the box from the Ludwig II - I, the king software: It comes from this page: http://www.neuschwanstein.com/ The second title is: NeuschwansteinUS Schloss Neuschwanstein CD ROM - englische Version you can order it here: NeuschwansteinUS Order Page It is the third offer, you can click on the: "Add to card symbol" There are some infos and screenshots from the NeuschwansteinUS CD ROM on these webpages: http://www.neuschwanstein-interaktiv.de/ http://www.neuschwanstein-interaktiv.de/tour.htm I don´t know of both above software programms are the same programm that Elena has reviewed on her page: Castle Neuschwanenstein Elena´s ReviewBut the both software programmes about King Ludwig and Castle Neuschwanenstein are very similar to the programm that Elena has reviewed, and maybe one of them is the same programme that is on Elena´s page, but I am not really sure with that. It is only a suggestion from me. I hope I could helped you a little bit with these links and infos? Friendly Greetings from Moe Perry

You probably already know this, but Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within features Ludwig and his castle. I love the tour and history of Ludwig in that game.

Don't forget the 3D Jigsaw puzzle, that has a short adventure game to play inside when you finish building it. You also get the complete history thru the years of it's construction as you go along, with LOTS of FMV.
There are four levels of dificulty, each will get you some of the game, but you can't play it all unless you do the hardest level.

hi ATTENTION!!! Ludwig II - I, the king. Life, Castles, Music, Dynasty, Contemporary History is not the same as that 3D-Puzzle "Neuschwanstein"!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is just a multimedia product with many pictures and many texts about Ludwig II, the builder of Neuschwanstein! the developer and publisher of "Bavarian Castle - Neuschwanstein" is http://www.wrebbit.com/ that game was never released anywhere else than in Canada and US, so don't look for it in Europe! Hi Moe, thank you for finding that link: http://www.neuschwanstein-interaktiv.de/ that multimedia product is new to me! I will order it immediately!!! on my site you can find also another multimedia product on Neuschwanstein(not a game): http://www.mystic-spirits.de/ha/index.ph...chwans&az=g
