So I'm finally playing Dreamfall Chapters (only 4 years after its full release), and I love it so far! The Longest Journey is my all time, number 1, favorite pc game. Then years ago, I was so excited for Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, only to be sorely disappointed. I hated the action/fighting sequences with a passion, and the cliffhanger ending was horrible! So disappointing. I was probably also just disappointed about how much April had changed, and how little you were able to play her. I didn't really care for the other characters (Zoe and Kian). So when I heard about Dreamfall Chapters coming out, and how it would be episodic, with each chapter being released one at a time, I was no longer excited for the franchise. Then I stopped gaming for a bit, while life got in the way, and I didn't have a pc for a time. I just got back into gaming a couple years ago, and after watching a youtube "Let's Play" of Dreamfall: The longest journey, just as a recap, I decided to give Chapters a try. And I am not disappointed so far!! I am not finished yet, so NO SPOILERS PLEASE! But omg, it's fantastic, and I am loving running into all these old characters from the original game: Brian Westhouse still around, Abnaxus, Ben Bandu, Roper Klacks, Crow!! I know some of those were in the previous game, but I'm happily surprised they're still around for this one. And Zoe and Kian have grown on me, although I still miss April. So far, it seems like a perfect wrap-up to my all time, favorite game storyline. And the graphics!! This may just be one I'll have to play and replay, just like the OG. I really hope the ending does not disappoint.

Good to hear that you are loving this game. For me, it was just okay. There were things I liked and things I didn't. But that is how a lot of games are for me .

Oh no, really? I'm surprised you guys weren't fans, but I guess not every game is everyone's cup of tea. I was not a fan of the second game at all. But they definitely improved upon things in this one, imho. I love it so far, don't want it to end, and definitely see myself replaying it, much like the original TLJ.

I too liked it Tristy, and it is better if played through in one go in my opinion (rather than with big breaks between Chapters).
