has anyone tried the scavenger hunt? i found the item in the first portal . if i am understanding it right you can't fill in the clues until all 4 portals are visited and wonder when the 2nd one will be unlocked

Yes, we won't be able to figure out the code until all four portals are unlocked. Not sure when that will be - we will just have to keep checking back.

And your thinking was correct. I just tried the code on a game, and it worked and gave me the discount. Are you sure you have the right code?

it didn't give me any code i have found all items in the portals but nothing else. it won't let me put the words in on the scavenger hunt
is there more than 1 item in each porta;l?

During the scavenger hunt, you should have found 1 code for each portal. Combine those 4 codes (without any spaces) and use that single code to purchase a game on BFG's purchase site.

There are 2 different coupon codes to be found.

One is by finding the particular items that fill in those blanks. I believe you can use that code on any game for 60% off.

The other is by finding some other items to get a discount on different developer games (one in each portal). That discount is 60% for members, 45% for non-members.

In the first portal, you find "an item placed out of time". Finding that gives you a code for an ELEPHANT game (60% member, 45% non-member). In the middle of that item is a gem. The color of that gem is the first part of the code in that 4 step process.

In the second portal you find an "item from the wrong time" for a code for an EIPIX game. But you will also find a number in that portal which is the second part of the code in the 4 step process.

I hope that makes sense.

yes i know all that. i just thought you would be able to add the words to the scavenger hunt. oh well will just wait til the game comes out n ext week. my eyes aren't working very good any more with my cataracts

As far as I know, you won't be able to use the code on the new MCF, as the code expires the day before the game is released for Game Club members. The code is good through the 23rd and MCF is released on the 24th.

Okay, sorry my10. I guess I didn't understand what you were asking and personally, I was a little confused with the "hunt" so that's what I thought you might have had trouble with also.

Yeah, you can't actually fill the blanks on the screen in. You just have to put the answers together and enter that code on the check out page.

I found it a little confusing too, oldbroad. I thought it was just me, so good to know.

thank you for all the help. yea kind of stinks that can't use the code for the new game. i have all the games and waiting for this one next week. think they should of made it where you could of put in the clues on the web page

You can't use the code on Crossfade, but you can use it on anything else.

On the page that shows the four portals here, on the bottom of the page it says the following:
