Hi everyone!

The famous French magazine 3DVF (that I have been reading for almost 20 years) has published an interview about my work and the Black Cube series.

https://www.3dvf.com/redaction/jeu-...simon-mesnard-et-sa-saga-the-black-cube/

It was written this Summer before I announced a stop in the series, but I think it's still interesting.

Unfortunately it is written in French, but I'm sure that you can have a pretty good translation with https://www.deepl.com/translator

I hope that you find it interesting! I don't really remember what I talked about as it was written quite long ago now razz

That is fantastic Simon! It came up in English for me. I used this link.

I hope this draws more interest in the series and ultimately increased sales!

Oh thank you Ana! I am too silly, I just realized that I didn't include the link to the article in my message....... I have updated it.

Yes it is the link that you gave too. So when you click on it, it is displayed in English? Very interesting, I didn't know that 3DVF had an English version. I can see a French flag at the top of the page, so it probably choose automatically the language depending on the country of your internet provider. Good to know!!

I use Google Chrome and I believe it just auto-translates any page. I think other browsers do this too, but not sure. Nice interview!

Hi everyone! Thanks to all of you for your interest in this interview!

Oh yes there could be issues with the translation...
I hope someday I will make an interview directly in English smile

I don't want to advertise them, but I find that DeepL translator (for which I gave a link above) gives the best results as it is a deep learning translation tool. The translated texts make sense and don't look as weird as some Google translation for example.
Well at least I'm talking regarding English to French, but maybe the contrary gives better results with Google?
However DeepL is not integrated in browsers from what I know, so you'll have to manually copy/paste the paragraphs...

By the way, I would like to invite you to subscribe to my newsletter if you haven't already! http://eepurl.com/dM3VFg
I don't post very often, there is no spam, I don't use your personal information... It's just a way for me to send 2 or 3 times a year a summary of my progress, future plans, and tell about my latest creations.
And I'm telling you this now because the Christmas newsletter could contain a small surprise if I can finish it in time! (if not, it will be sent later, but it will be for subscribers only, like the Black Cube Artbook which was given in exclusivity in a 2019 newsletter, a year before the public release)

Have a beautiful Sunday!

Thanks Lakerz smile

Oh by the way, yesterday I made a general Trailer video that looks back to the 5 Black Cube games:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yos7iCZy7nU
It's just a mix of different footage, gameplay or not, but I think it gives the mood of the series, with a 1990s vibe and also some more modern techniques, depending on the episodes.

Happy Sunday everyone!
