Hello so I have been playing The Secrets of Da Vinci recently! There is a glitch to skip the Mona Lisa puzzle but unfortunately on My computer, which has the latest version of Windows 10, Will not let me get back into the game after I alt-tab, It will adjust the resolution and everything but It will not let me get back into the game. Any tips on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated! P.S. I have also applied the patch that works on all Kheops games as pinned in this topic.

Alt/Tab should just background the game and then take you right back to the same place you were. Tapping the Windows key should do the same thing. So, I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish by backgrounding the game?? It sounds like you'll have to get out of it completely. You may have to bring up the Task Manager to do it.

There's a glitch in the game to skip a puzzle in the walkthrough that requires alt -tabbing, Probably should've mentioned that i'm using the big fish version, to quote from the walkthrough:

"Colored Mona Lisa - Click on a square to turn the charcoal to colors. The object of the puzzle is to reform the Mona Lisa. Click to turn all the frames in to colors. Then using the black dots move the squares into the correct position. Once the colored square is in the correct position, click on that square to turn it to white and see if they are the same as the original charcoal drawing.

Cheat obtained by accident - Have the active dotted easel puzzle on the screen, move around a bit to other rooms and then come back. Click the start-windows button at bottom left of keyboard to hide the game to the taskbar and show the desktop. Click the game on the taskbar to get back to the game and see that the puzzle is solved."

So that's why i need to get back into the game without closing it.

Also are you absolutely sure the cheat is for your version of the game and not the old version from 2006 or an "updated" version of the 2006 version.

The most recent versions have a different game engine and aren't the same game at all.
They aren't "updated" versions of the old game. They are completely remade.

Exactly what I was going to say, Jenny. If this is a Big Fish version, it may not be anything like the old version. Also, I don't "think" using alt/tab instead of what the directions say should make any difference, but it does say to click the Start button, not the alt/tab buttons.
