Does anybody know of any saves for this game or have any tips for getting past Krenn without being shot towards the end of the game? I have looked at MaG's walthrough and at Tally Ho's walkthrough. I have also watched a video of this part but still cannot get it. I've tried 2 small steps and 4 small steps. I've tried the Caps Lock and I've tried the Shift. I've tried with Krenn's head in various turns. As soon as I move, I am seen and shot. I cannot get even partway to the doorway. I cannot finish the game if I can't get past this.

Shucks, I haven't played the game, so am not much help. I know if you've tried it all, you are at an impasse. Hopefully, there will be a saved game available.

Gardens put to bed for the winter. Time for some gaming!

If you need help again, there is a website here that has saved games for The Watchmaker. This is a trusted site, so no worries on that score.

I remember that tricky part - and was unable to do it with the mouse. Using the arrows on the keyboard made it Much Easier.

This was a great game - I really enjoyed playing it and creating the walkthrough. Lots of work, that one.

I can appreciate the amount of work that went into that walkthrough, Tally Ho!

Yes Tally Ho. I had your walkthrough next to me as I had printed it out many years ago, and I had MaG's walkthrough open on a monitor next to the one I was playing on. I used both of them on more occasions than just that one part.
