Came across this filed under "To be recycled when eveyone's forgotten about it" . It first saw the light of day in 2006, so hopefully you can't remember what you put last time . How well do you know the London Underground? Figure out the following Underground stations from the clues given (including a few devious ones ). For example - Result of a lightning strike in a forest? Answer - Burnt Oak Plenty to go around, so grab a couple If you’re unfortunate enough not to have been born in the UK, or are not that familiar with the Underground, feel free to Google "List of London Underground stations" or use this link-1.	Was bad news for Napoleon Waterloo -2.	Shrubbery for the herdsman Shepherds Bush -3.	Royal route Queensway -4.	Where 007 might be found? Bond Street -5.	What a rough sea would do to poor sailors Turnham Green (T)-6.	Alpine dwelling Swiss Cottage -7.	It's falling down London Bridge -8.	Oriental bad actor East Ham -9. Mr Mason’s face covering Perivale -10. Weapon store Arsenal -11. Elliptical Oval -12. Trumpeting a New York thoroughfare Tooting Broadway -13. Anyone for tennis? Wimbledon -14. Nobleman's been captured Earl's Court -15. Saint Lawrence Seaway? Canada Water -16. After going 1760 yards Mile End 17. The longest reigning monarch (Out of date) -18. Apostolic weald St John's Wood (S)-19.	Ursine Peruvian Paddington -20. Patellas' lair Neasden-21.	Where to get your bread Baker Street -22.	Heavenly messenger Angel -23.	Where the money is Bank -24. Where blackboard materials are grown Chalk Farm -25. There's lots of these on Merseyside Liverpool Street -26.	Deterrent to burglars? Barking or Highgate

22. Angel 23. Bank This is fun! I've taken the tube all over London, mostly to theaters...sorry, theatres, so a lot of these are familiar to me.

Sounds like you were over here a while... I've made the trip across the pond 12 times, at first to visit my late husband's cousin in Basildon, Essex, with several trips to London each time, and then with an annual Theatre in London course offered by our local community college. My last trip over was in January 2020. If we ever get this *@%^! virus under control, I hope to go again.

michele and Bernie - spot-on! Lady K - "wow" is all I can say. You have obviously visited the theaters in London far more than we have, and we only live 25 miles away! Love this idea of the annual theater trip - would love to do one in the opposite direction
