Draclvr, I grew up with and always had Maggi on hand till I discovered Braggs Amino Acids. It has proven to be an excellent healthier substitute that I use frequently.

We always have Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar on hand and I will check out their Amino product - I did not know there was one.

They have a cute little spray bottle available as well for a light misting, Marian!

The Braggs alternative sounds great! We mostly keep it on hand for when the Germans are here. Guenter uses it in a lot of stuff.

I get breakfast sausage in those tubes. I cut it into slices and then lay the slices on something flat and freeze them. Then I put in a Zip Loc bag. When I want to make sausage grave, I just get one out and thaw it in the microwave for 20 seconds and fry it in a pan. Then I turn off the heat and add 2 Tablespoons of flour, about 1/2 teaspoon of dried onions, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and some pepper. I mix that all together with the cooked sausage and then I add 1 cup of milk. I turn the burner back on and bring it up to a boil, turn down the heat and let it bubble for about a minute. Put some biscuits you can get in a tube in the oven according to the directions on the tube. Voila! You have biscuits and gravy!, i will write it down and try it sometime in cooking class or one day, my printer broken. thank you very much.

That would be a good thing for cooking class. That only makes about one cup of gravy, so you'd have to double or triple the recipe to make enough for more people.

I think that's a matter of preference in what you want to eat and how much work you want to do. For myself, I think the last one looks both good and easy but I don't eat mashed potatoes so I would eat it with rice or noodles.

Yes, that last one looks like comfort food!

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Yup, all depends on what you like. We might not care for the recipes, but they might be great for you!

Just use whatever casserole dish you have. It doesn't have to be exact. As long as it all fits and it won't bubble over, it doesn't matter. I often use a large square casserole that is deep with no problems. The last one says they use a 9 x 13 dish.

And if you are worried about it bubbling over, put a cookie sheet under the pan, just in case. That's not ideal but it does help.

I have NEVER seen prices that low for those ingredients in that first recipe. $1.28 for 8 oz of Cheddar Cheese??????????????????????????

I like eating out now and then, but MUCH prefer to stay at home and cook myself. All of these look really good. You can get disposable aluminum pans at the grocery store if you decide to try one in the freezer. It sure is easy to just take it out and pop it in the oven!

I ALWAYS add pimentos and dried onion to my tuna noodle casserole. I also use cream of celery instead of cream of mushroom. The other thing that we like best on top is crushed potato chips!

You can make it any way you like it!
