Hi.

I started "Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit" (from GOG) on my Win10 machine last night and after playing for a while, getting used to the controls etc and making a few saves, I decided to re-start and play seriously.

So I went looking for the saves in all the usual places - to clear them out - with hidden files enabled - but couldn't find them anywhere

Is anyone else playing this game yet who might know where the saves are ??

Hi Mad, I don't know for sure as I don't have the game, but have you tried looking in:

C:\Users\(username)\AppData\LocalLow\

and then looking there for the name of the game company or the name of the game?

I don't have it either and these game saves are dependent on the game engine and sometimes where Windows 10 puts them. If you can't find the old saves, try posting in the game forum at GOG.

That's exactly where I looked first - and also in Documents Files - but they are nowhere to be seen

My saves are at:

C:\Users\Reggie\AppData\LocalLow\Tag of Joy\Crowns and Pawns\default\saves

You'll need to change the Reggie to whatever your user name is.

It's now sorted - although I don't really know why.

I decided to uninstall/reinstall and start completely anew - and now my new saves are where they should be.
