I know some people are fed up with my remarks about BF, but if you just look at their home page now, it appears games are only for little kids and families. There's nothing wrong with that but I'm sure lots of people who remember BF from before don't recognize it anymore. And, other sites have games that cost more but are real games.

I'm just about to quit them - no wonder the previous owner sold his/her company. Don't worry. I'll stop complaining and go on to other sites. I love GB, so plan on staying here.

Just to let you know, there are HOPA betas in the works and there will be more HOPA games to come, but right now the new pickings are very slim due to them being primarily solitaire, puzzle, match 3, time management, etc., while developers in Ukraine and Russia figure out how best to try to get back to work in the midst of a war. A new Friendly Fox beta came in this past week (you can see it on YouTube), so it will happen but meanwhile it requires patience. They are also putting a lot of time and money into their new points system which is supposed to kick in on May 23rd.

Some of us here on the forum are seeing this as an opportunity to replay old favorites and/or make new discoveries of good games released in the past, so from that standpoint it has not been all negative for lovers of HOPAs. I bought my first Big Fish game in 2006, so there are plenty to choose from as well as having purchased some that passed me by when they were first released.

You are absolutely entitled to your opinion, but I will say that it does not need to be discussed in a new post over and over. Anyone who frequents these forums probably knows how you feel at this point. Fortunately there are plenty of other gaming sites from which to choose should you not care to wait and/or be a customer of theirs any more. Happy gaming to you, and I hope you find some new games to enjoy.

demo them first, before you buy, to see if they play on your computer.

Hi, Marian!

I've beta-tested a couple of games I'm really looking forward to playing (especially "Crossroads: Escaping the Dark"), but I realize that with all the problems in the world, they will be delayed. Like you, I'm replaying some of my old favorites. Unless they really stand out in my mind, I forget what they were all about shortly after playing them since some are so much alike, so they are new games to me when I play them again lol .

One thing I am looking forward to on May 23 is my 2 punch card coupons will be converted to points so I don't have to worry about them expiring before I can use them. As long as I'm accumulating points, there will be all the more when the new games are finally released.

Susan

That's a good point about the upcoming changes on May 23rd, Susan.

I too am looking forward to the second game in the Crossroads series.

I'm in the same boat as you when it comes to replaying games - in most cases I barely remember them and it's like Christmas morning all over again. grin

Hi, Marian!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who forgets what a game was about after I've finished playing. At least as we're replaying them, they are brand new games and we don't have to spend any more money lol !

Susan

the only problem i have with big fish, they been ignoring me, Matchmaker: Joining Hearts and
Matchmaker: Curse of Deserted Bride did not work good, email them, the customer service person said i get back with you and got how we do, before delicious 11-17 did not work, in demos, fix that, all 9 by desktop, did not know they expire, all i got was buy them. Matchmaker: Joining Hearts and Matchmaker: Curse of Deserted Bride still do not work good, Right-click the Games icon and click Properties.
Click the Compatibility tab at the top of the ‘Properties’ window.
Under the ‘Privilege Level’ section, check Run this program as an administrator and click OK. tried that, better, but not great. they never reply back to me. some of their games will not work with the new game manager, only by the desktop icon and tweaking them.

family, they did not owe you the two that they gave you and to expect more because you are having demo issues is expecting way above good customer service, that's just expecting stuff for free and that isn't how companies stay in business.

I agree completely, Ana. And family, I don't know what is up with your demo issues, but I have never known of anyone having trouble with a Delicious: Emily demo before. I don't think the problem lies with Big Fish.

you guys are right. i will get delicious 11-17 from legacy, they will have it on cd.

We are currently talking to the owners of the Delicious series to see if there is interest in continuing our partnership. However, we are still in early talks and there are no definite answers or dates set yet.

I hope we have better news for you soon! Thanks for your interest. Have a great day!

Little Emily is busy playing hide-and-seek around the restaurant. Find her 5 times , i am having a hard time with this in

Delicious: Emily's Message in a Bottle Collector's Edition and in Delicious: Emily's Christmas Carol Collector's Edition i am having trouble with, and Create delectable new ice cream flavors in thrilling mini games, and keep your customers satisfied, they test the new flavors, i fail, and customers come in mad and angry. in Anna`s Ice Cream, and is there a cooking trip official walkthrough, people are coming in mad and angry. in cooking trip ce, getting gold on 5, on 2 cooking trip games, 2 people got what they could, went back with new stuff, no walkthroughts on big fish, and no beginner mode. love these games, getting impossible to beat them.

Some of these games can be very difficult. Apart from playing on the easiest level of difficulty (assuming such levels are available) and looking for videos of individual levels on YouTube, I can't think of anything else to suggest that might help. I am wondering if the Cooking Trip Collector's Edition comes with a strategy guide.

yes, but it does not say how to keep customer happy. marian i get to level 5 on all, they come in with bad moods, even Anna`s Ice Cream, why is big fish putting hard games on their site, even delicious has one, but, i never did hide and seek, keep the fires going for toasted marshmallow.

Based on the time management games I've played on Big Fish off and on since about 2008, there have always been those time management games that were more difficult than others.

I would have to look at some of the games you have mentioned to try and determine what's up. I have some of them. I do remember that with those hide-and-seek levels where you have to find someone while you are busy doing everything else, I can usually get those on one or two tries. But there are other levels where I barely pass and only get one star.
