Are you getting this message while trying to install Gray Matter from a physical CD? Or is it something else?
What I would try first if you are installing from a CD would be to right click the .exe file or shortcut for the game and to check the box that says to run the program as an administrator and then click apply. Then try running the game again to see if that fixes the issue.
