STOCKHOLM — Dec. 8, 2020 — Raw Fury and indie developer Out of the Blue have launched the first-person puzzle adventure game Call of the Sea on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows PC via Steam, GOG.com and the Microsoft Store. The game is also available to play with Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC.

An otherworldly tale of self-discovery and mystery set in the 1930s, Call of the Sea is a love letter to the adventure genre. Players will follow Norah, a charming and determined young woman, to a lush island paradise in the uncharted reaches of the South Pacific on the search for her missing husband. On this mysterious island, you’ll unearth the remnants of a lost civilization, investigate clues, and solve a variety of clever puzzles to piece together the fate of Norah’s husband’s expedition. Explore stunning tropical environments on this immersive voyage inspired by the surreal emotion, suspense and surprises of H.P. Lovecraft’s stories. What secrets will you find in this beautiful, enigmatic world?

Features:
• Dive deep into a lush, tropical island meticulously modeled in Unreal Engine 4 and brimming with amazing sights, lost ruins and occult mysteries.
• Investigate clues left by previous inhabitants and solve a variety of puzzles to unlock the secret of what happened to Norah’s husband’s missing expedition.
• Experience an emotional, suspenseful journey of self-discovery, fully voiced by BAFTA-winning actress Cissy Jones (Firewatch, Life Is Strange, The Walking Dead).

Happy Gaming!

I started this game today and after one hour of play (slowly to absorb the beauty and avoid nausea) I think I am going to like this!

According to flotsam's review, there are 6 chapters in the game and he spent about 10 hours playing it. I have already played over 6 hours and only just made it into Chapter 3. I'm still liking it so far! yes

It's a very nice game Marian. Any more thoughts on getting it? I spent 11 hours in Chapter 3 and finally had to resort to a walkthrough. One clue held me back. I just didn't look at it good enough. I loved the feel of Chapter 3 but it was harder on my head and stomach so I'm glad to be moving onto Chapter 4 now. yes

I didn't last too long in Chapter 5 without looking at a walkthrough. Underwater and getting seasick, and now I've had to get out of the game even though I believe I am back on dry land.

The Island is beautiful and the puzzles are good, in my opinion. Challenging but not too hard to figure out. I should not have needed the WT in Ch 3 and probably not in Ch 5 either. I made it through the rest of 5 (without the WT) despite having to go back underwater, and am now in 6 which I believe is the last chapter. Maybe I can finish it up later.

WOW....this is a beautiful game and I like what I have seen of the story. I checked out a Walkthrough and it sold me. Now do I get it or wait for a sale. That is the question. I'll bet I can get my wife to buy this one

Here is a guide to just see Puzzles Solutions
