Just installed Whispered Secrets : Morbid Obsession. Hoping it will be as good as the other Whispered Secret games I've played smile

I don't think I've played that one yet, Mad. Let us know how it goes. smile

I am playing League of Light: Silent Mountain CE. I really thought I had played this one before, but have since decided that I have not. Nothing about it is familiar to me and I really like Mariaglorum games so I am pretty sure I would have remembered something about it. Just started the bonus chapter. Good game!

I seem to have completed the "first main task" in the game but don't actually know if I made the right decision at the end of it !!

No doubt the game will let me know at some later stage.

I am enjoying my play though and there are some different puzzles to work on, so all good so far.

I hope !! lol

That's good news, Mad! And I doubt that the choice you made will be punitive. wink

I finished League of Light: Silent Mountain CE and thoroughly enjoyed it. wave

I started Dream Hills: Captured Magic last night. So far, so good. Much more light hearted for me than the Lost Lands game was.

That sounds good, oldbroad. I'll have to see if that is in my Purchase History or not.

Golden Silence and Ripple of the Heart were my two favorites from that series. Let us know what you think of Captured Magic when you've finished it! smile

Those two games are part of the Whispered Secrets series so I assume you are addressing Mad who is playing Morbid Obsession?

Just checked, and Dream Hills: Captured Magic is not in my Purchase History. I will consider it for a future purchase.

I've been working my way through the Haunted Legends series. That's the games with that Dreadful Dwarf, and eventually includes the Cardinal and his cat. There were something like 15 titles, of which four have become unavailable. I have finished six (in order), and it's amazing the difference in graphic quality and creative quality. The Dwarf is just as repulsive and evil as ever, but the story writing has gotten better. They were 'economical' in the beginning, having used the same music for the first three games in the series. Probably they thought nobody would notice 🤪 but there really are musicians out here. Anyway I am enjoying the series, and although I have played some of them before, no matter. My memory has expired in the meantime.

Tally Ho, I replayed the first Haunted Legends game recently because your mentioning of the series reminded me of them. I really enjoyed the replay and actually ended up with all the playing cards at the end, which was not the case the first time I played.

Glad you are enjoying them! I plan on replaying the second game in the series pretty soon.

I have the first 7 of the Haunted Legends games downloaded but who knows when I might get to start squeezing them into my playing rotation. I am starting to feel defeated by the number of games I want to play.

I hear you on that one, oldbroad. When I am playing a game, I try to pretend that it is the only game that I have. Weirdly, this thinking at least partially succeeds in that I find myself enjoying more whatever I am playing at the time (rather than thinking about all of the unplayed games I still have waiting for me). I also don't buy anywhere near as many games as I once did, which helps me not only from a financial standpoint but also from the standpoint of not feeling as overwhelmed by how many there are yet to be played.

However, I'm well into the bonus game now so hoping to get through it alright grin

Finished the whole game now but have to say this one was my least favourite of those I have in this series whistle

Will go and see what game I fancy next, now grin

I have heard such praise here about the Vermillion Watch series, but my reaction to the first game in the series (after about a half an hour of play) was very similar to yours. Maybe I just did not give it enough of a chance. I do plan on giving it another try at some point.

Could be your mood, Mad - or maybe not. smile

I hope you are holding up okay in the heat.

I'm going to play a bit more, shortly, Marian but if I don't get into liking it better it will get shelved rolleyes

Got plenty of other games of different genres still to sample - as so many of us have lol

I've managed so far in the heat by the use of curtains, doors and air con. But I will be so glad when it dies down !!

Hope you, too, are coping ?? hug

Yes, I think it's quite well-established that the lot of us have enough games to sink the Titanic. grin

I am coping okay, thank you. You take good care of yourself, Mad. hug

I am wondering if playing the series in order would make any difference? I can't answer that question because I have only played a wee bit of the first game in the series, which is Moorgate Accord.
