I just started this game and am having a hard time figuring out how it works. I hope someone has played it recently and has advice. I can't figure out how to level up and use my 3 skills. I haven't been able to find many weapons other than a paddle and kitchen knife. I've seen videos where other players have many weapons at this place in the game. When I finished the Lifeguard Station quest, I saw a picture of a cleaver on Sinemoi's shirt front. I clicked the F but nothing happened. Was he possibly offering a trade or sale? I'd love to have it. I know it is an old game, but any advice is welcome. I am quite confused right now. The Steam
community hasn't been any help.

I do not know anything about this game but found a guide to the game here. There also seem to be some YouTube videos including a full-game video walkthrough. Otherwise, maybe someone else will post who has some personal experience with the game.

Pokey, I don't know anything about this game either. All I can suggest is watching some of the YouTube videos as Marian suggested.

OK, I'll check some more videos. I did figure out that the cleaver was a reward for clearing out the lifeguard station. Now I need to figure out how to make it available. I wonder if I lead some zombies to the lifeguard station, will my friends help kill them as in Gothic.

Edit...No, they won't go near the station.

I'm doing better in the game now. Got a lot of answers from the gaming sites and figured others out on my own. I learned an important fact about fighting last night that will help a lot. I am level 7 and have some good weapons. There is actually a good game there, though it still has a few problems such as automatic saves that are not obvious when they happen and weapons that degrade rather quickly. You can often find replacements.
