Did a minor stock-up trip in town this morning as it looks like we won't be getting out after Thursday for a few days. I have wine and toilet paper, so bring on the apocalypse!

Fortunately we seem to be avoiding the massive snowfall that happened in Vancouver. Still, it's very cold tonight and even my intrepid little Dude won't go out on the balcony. We're all sitting around the fire watching Mad Men and eating cashew nut-filled dark chocolate cups (they got treats).

Mad Men... is that the hilarious series set down in Belize or somewhere like that?

soot, do you get any time off during the holidays? I worked for the State of Missouri and always saved up enough annual leave to be able to take the week off between Christmas and the New Year. I was a field inspector for environmental regulations and most of my facilities were closed anyway!

One more day of niceish weather and then the bottom falls out with 35 - 50 MPH winds, snow and temps below zero F.

Dark roast coffee for me this morning too and I'm off to do my daily Wordle!
