Coffee in front of the fire with a cat in my lap, looking out across the water at a snow-covered Quadra Island. I's very quiet because the icy conditions have most people staying at home.

I ran out of milk for my cappuccinos this morning, but remembered that I had bought a couple of containers of oat milk for such emergencies. It's actually not bad, in a pinch.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I am enjoying the game Gerry. It is a couple years old but I revived the announcement thread on the Casual board. Check it out.

Bright and sunny today!

That sounds quite blissful, hagatha!

Got out my mandolin and sliced up the last two beer flats of ripe tomatoes. On December 1st! Good grief! We even had a tomato salad with balsamic vinegar and onions for Thanksgiving. I put all 9 racks in the dehydrator to dry. Not sure what I'll do with them then. They are extra yummy as snacks, but I also ground up a bunch of them earlier to make tomato powder!

Then league bowling tonight.

Have a wonderful Thursday, everyone!

Gardens put to bed for the winter. Time for some gaming!

Snow, snow and more snow. I don't have to go anywhere, thankfully.

Hope your holiday was fun, Connie.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

It's been snowing all day. We must have 6 inches of snow by now -- very unusual for us, here at sea level. And it's fluffy snow, too -- none of that nasty wet snow.

The ski hills must be very busy.

Good Morning Connie, Hagatha, SpaceQ and everyone. wave Connie glad you had a nice vacation and are home safe and sound. Hagatha I'm sure the snow looks beautiful, but good to hear you can stay home and enjoy it with the kitties...do they want to venture out in it on the deck? SpaceQ we have been lucky too...no snow yet, but lots of rain. Its cold here too.

Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are ready.

Happy Saturday everyone! Relax and enjoy some gaming! happydance

Gerry, both cats have been out on the deck. Willow has become very lazy, but she used to dig tunnels around the edges of the deck. Dude has never been out in snow before this week since I didn't let him out last year, and he can't get enough of it. After a few minutes he'll come roaring in and stand on his heated pad for a couple of minutes to let is paws warm up.

It looks like we had more snow last night, too. It's very quiet right now, something you don't ever really get living in the city.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Rearranging my spice cupboard! I always find things I forgot I had. Then it's on to the refrigerator which is in dire need of a good cleaning.

See, a fun day!!

Good morning, Danish, Donuts and Bagels in the Break Room. All the decorating is done, except for the porch tree. We are going later today to get a real tree, we haven' had a real one for several years. . We have a fiber optic tree in the living room. The outside looks like a Winter Wonderland except for the snow. I love decorating for Christmas. hearts

We're still a bit snowed in here. Our street never gets plowed, but this time it took two days for the highway to be cleared. That's the problem when you live in a small town on the coast -- there's only couple of municipal plows, and it takes ages to dig everyone out.

I'm doing a couple of zoom calls to friends in Vancouver and Hope. I haven't seen my Hope friends for years. It'll be nice to catch up.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good morning Gerry, Connie, SpaceQF, Hagatha and everyone. We just finished a 2+ mile hike with Max and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet ... most excellent experience to stand quietly and listen to falling leaves bounce off the branches and hit the forest floor. Oh yes indeed Gerry, very, very dark roast coffee with Connie's bagels. Have a wonderful Sunday!
