Does anyone remember the series with companion animal helpers sitting in the lower right/left to help if needed? I tried doing a Google search, and all it came up with was animal games. Thanks in advance.

There have been quite a few games like that, although I don't remember a specific series apart from the earlier Mystery Trackers games that feature Elf, the dog. And I can't remember if Elf sits in the lower right/left or if he just stays in the inventory bar. I think that Dreampath: The Two Kingdoms had a cat in a tuxedo, but unfortunately that game has been removed from the Big Fish catalogue.

Hopefully players with better memories about this will post. I can remember games with owl companions too, but not the titles of those games.

I couldn't remember whether Elf stayed in the inventory or if he also puts in an appearance in the corners. Either way, a great series, and I should replay those earlier games this year.

Elf is definitely in inventory and is an amusing addition. I love the early Mystery Trackers.

I love Elf and am so glad Marian mentioned him, so I knew it was the series I'd been looking for. I'm replaying all the ones I have for PC. I'll have to check to see if the ones I have on Mac are the same ones or not. If they're different, I'll have to switch to my Mac for a while.
