To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self. I wonder what's on television...?

4. If I remember correctly, a string quartet has 2 violins, a viola, and a cello.
A day without books is like...just kidding. I have no idea.

I love Loreena McKennitt's voice! Thanks for posting that, Lex.
Is the lurgi only in the UK, UW? It sounds like a nasty beastie, and I'm sorry it hit you.

In a way, Lady K. it's a made-up disease that was a running gag in the 1950s' UK comedy radio show "The Goon Show". If anyone was not well, they'd been struck down by the dreaded lurgi. (Lurgi was always "dreaded"). It was then but a short step to enter general usage to cover any non-serious medical condition that you couldn't be bothered to explain - "it's just an attack of the lurgi" I suspect Bernie might remember it...
