May's crossword puzzle. Should be solvable with but is possible you'll learn one or two new things. Some more or less useful hints: The japanese coin was once used in Japan. The two towns are both located at rivers in Germany. The three gentlemen hails from Finland. As usual, Please don't publish your solution until Sunday. We don't want to spoil the fun for the others. Not really a mistake about using Donau for Danube: it just adds to the appeal of the puzzle!

I didn't think Donau was a mistake. It just took me longer to figure out. I've always enjoyed learning how geographical names change from country to country, sort of like a game of telephone.
