Good Thursday morning! Grrr.... raining hard again and has been for several hours. No tomatoes getting planted today...
I'm sure I will be whining about how hot and dry it is this summer, but c'mon! Enough already. The farmers around here aren't able to get the corn and soybeans planted either.
It's spring. My life is weeds.

Good afternoon everyone.
We're having another lovely day, though the wind is picking up and rain threatens.
After surveying just how bad my lawn looks after mowing it, I decided I really do have to have the whole thing de-mossed and reseeded. I thought about doing it myself for about 30 seconds, swiftly came back to my senses, and arranged for the landscapers to do the work next week. I do want to turn part of it into more beds along the fence, but that's a project for another year.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good morning Fogfighter. Or should I say, good night, since it's 10 pm here. I'll be along for some of that coffee in about 9 hours!
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good morning everyone.
Woke up very early this morning, and got a start on the day by taking care of some paperwork and laundry. I'm off to Pilates soon, although I'm tired enough that it will feel like a chore.
We get hummingbirds regularly, and my garden is an oasis for birds generally because of my trees and shrubs and the pond and little stream. There's often several birds in the shrubs above it. The cats are afraid of the pond, so there's no danger of ambush, and I love watching the larger birds bathe. It's one of the charms of my garden to make up for the loss of me ocean view.
I've also planted a native current bush,. It's the first thing that blooms in the Spring and it provides food for the hummingbirds. I might grab a few more of those. They're lovely plants.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Friday morning! Sun... we have sun! We ended up getting another inch and a half of rain yesterday. My poor tomato plants will NEVER get planted at this rate! Hubby is out mowing even though the grass is still wet.
I am down to Miss M, my semi house cat and Wally the barn cat. Miss M does like to stalk the hummingbirds and she catches one now and then. For some odd reason, she always brings them to me and lets them go. Strange cat.
I'd like to work outside, but it is just total muck, so I guess I'll wait a couple of days.
It's spring. My life is weeds.

Good Morning everyone and Welcome to the weekend! Wide Awake Double Dark Brew is ready! I heard from the air conditioning company and I have an appointment for May 14th to have the outside unit replaced if the weather is good...can't do it if it rains. My dear sister-in-law, Elaine had hernia surgery yesterday...she is doing well, but could use GB healing prayers. Hope you all enjoy the weekend and Happy Mother's Day! Gerry

Good Saturday morning! Just checked the forecast and it is supposed to be nice today and tomorrow and what else... rain on Monday. Grrrrr... I can't see that the garden will be dry enough to till tomorrow, so probably no tomatoes planted yet.
Connie, that must have been scary to have lightning hit so close to the house!
Positive thoughts for your SIL, Gerry.

Good morning everyone,
I was up all night with an infernal machine attached to my arm, measuring my BP every half hour for 24 hours. Apparently high blood pressure sneaked up on me when I wasn't looking. Given my family history, the only surprise is that I got to this age before it became apparent. Ah well, just one more medication for the old lady pill box.
Looks like rain today.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good evening everyone ... whew the day flew by like most days now ... seems like there just isn't enough time in the day to get it all done. We had rain most of the day and I was loving it as we "really" need it bad! Sure hope you get a break up in your neck of the woods Draclvr. We'll definitely keep your sister-in-law Elaine in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery Gerry. Sleep good everyone ... see you all tomorrow

Good morning everyone! Emergency kits with instant coffee and knäckebröd available in the break room. 8 Celsius and cloudy over here. Mr Wind is mostly absent over the whole country. Peaceful and calm but that means expensive electricity. Because the country is littered with windpower nowadays. Fortunatly we still got plenty of hydopower to balance. For now. Hagatha: If I had such a BP device attached I'm sure my BP would rise just because irritation and annoyance factor Happy Sunday GameBoomers!

Good Morning everyone and Happy Mother's Day too! Wide Awake Double Dark Brew is ready! Thank you all for the prayers for my dear sister-in-law....they are most appreciated. Connie years ago we had our well pump hit by lightening...it fried the connections in the control box where it connects in the house! Hope all goes well getting it fixed. Hagatha rising bp is part of aging as well as family history. Enjoy a peaceful day! Gerry
