This road trip is going accordion to plan

Still standing, but the paper and scissors were yet to come

This way up to the fan entrance gate

"Hi, Detritus! Whatcha doin'?"
"Hi, Igneous! I'm just trolling through the pictures from our Hard Places Trip."
"Ooo! I remember that trip. We found quite a few substantial town names, didn't we? I remember Stone Harbor and Butte."
"Yeh. Bangor and Brick were memorable, too."
"Where were we in that picture? Was it Boulder?”
“No, it was definitely Rockaway.”
"Oh, yeh! I remember! You reached into your inner troll and punched that rock into next week. I was very impressed."
“The sheriff wasn’t too impressed about the sign, but for some reason he didn’t arrest me.”
“Well, the handcuffs were a bit small, and I think he realized the sign would be a better warning to motorists in its modified state. Besides, I think the pleated look is more pleasing to the eyes.”
“I agree. Those were good times, weren’t they, Igneous?”
“Indeed they were, Detritus!”

I am thinking that's still an effective sign...
