Those who pre-ordered their previous game, System Shock's 2023 remake, back in 2023 will get this System Shock 2 remaster for free (or so the developer said back in 2023). Those who backed the Kickstarter of System Shock's 2023 remake at the right backer levels will also get it free. I've played the original and fan-remaster of System Shock 2 (
link) a few times, and I will play it again when this comes out. It is just as good as the first game in my opinion. But the first game will always be remembered for its groundbreaking design. Gamers mostly only remember two things: which game did it first, and which did it best.
