It’ll be the first demo I’ve done since Dark Fall back in 2001. My other games went straight to shelves or stores, so this will be interesting. Big very random audience. I’ll say now that the game is quite weird, a bit like The Lost Crown, so it won’t be to everyone’s tastes. But if you like the idea of an eccentric trip to Cornwall, in the 1920’s, with point and click action, puzzles, inventory, conversations and old school animation, this could be the PC game you’ve been waiting for. 🐙 Join ‘The Society’ and me and take a trip back into a sepia world. JonathanCheck out the Demo here.Very excited to be presenting the Demo for Lammana as part of the Steam Next Fest. This game is made by myself, developer Jonathan Boakes - Darkling Room, based in Looe, Cornwall, which is also the setting of Lammana, all be it in the 1920s.
Lammana is an adventure mystery… as you play the ‘Found Footage’ of William H Boston, presented in a modern day gallery in NYC, where Boston began his adventure. He vanished in 1924, never to be seen again, some say 'foul play', others claim madness and isolation. What brought Boston to Cornwall? Why did he meticulously record his every activity?
All is revealed as you progress through the mystery. Help us work out what happened to William, witness the strange and disturbing footage, and solve the mystery that surrounds Lammana, the ancient name for the island off Looe which Boston made home.
Spoilers – The demo presents you with a slice of gameplay, introducing the setting, presenting some characters, uncovering clues and items and then diving beneath the waves to investigate. All of this, and much more you’ll find in the full game, screenshots and trailers. Happy Gaming!

Greyfuss, I don't like playing demos, but I downloaded and played a few minutes right now to check for you. No issue at all. Ana

Thanks for the help Sheriff but I still don't get a Download, all I get is going back to a picture of a Demo Launch but no game Demo. I don't like playing Demos either....for games I am looking forward too and because of the past with Darkling Room I thought at least I would give a Demo a try but after no Demo all interest has faded but to be fair...you actually downloaded a piece of the game and played it or was it just pictures or a video of the game?

Hello Marian...that was it...frankly I didn't notice that "Download Demo" button before you pointed it out. What I saw was the two Large clickable Graphic below the "Coming Soon" which says "Lammana Demo" and also the clickable button that says "Lammana - Demo Launch" next to it which both did not take me to a Demo. I was able to download the demo with your help and played all the way up to getting the code key needed and then the Demo crashed, They should make that Download button bigger or a different color or not let Old Men on the Internet. Thank you Miss Marian

Sorry for being late to respond, Greyfuss, but you were in good hands with Marian! It was a long workday with a trip to the Immediate Care for stitches in between clients. Glad you got to play it! Ana
