Hello Boomers, hope you are all well….it’s been a while. I have some news to share with you. A couple of months after my hubby’s funeral last year I was diagnosed with cancer after a CT scan and an MRI. Doctor told me my cancer is stage 3 and inoperable due to its proximity to other organs and due to my medical history and current health issues they are unable to offer me chemotherapy. I can’t have radiotherapy to treat the tumour but can have it to treat the symptoms eg pain (palliative care).
Being told the diagnosis and limited treatment options so soon after losing hubby sent me to a dark place for a time but I have to accept that it’s happened and can’t be changed. As always, my amazing kids have got my back.

I am very sorry to hear that you have more bad news to share and I, also, will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I am happy that you have your children to help you out and are not alone.

Mary, I am very sorry to hear about this, but glad to hear that you arecoping with the situation at least a little better after recovering from the initial heavy blow of such news: definitely serenity prayer time! Sending you good vibes and hoping you still have an opportunity for some good times

Ms Mary, it is so nice to see and hear from you. Happy to know you have wonderful kids to help you these past months as the past year has been unimaginably hard for you. You are not forgotten and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
