I will try to make a point of playing The Inner World this year, ob. smile

Good to see you enjoying games, Leeana. They are a real lifesaver for me at times!

Mad, my favorite Sherlock Holmes game that is pure adventure is The Awakened. I haven't played all of the games yet, though.

Leeana, those games look interesting.

Marian, I meant to add that sometimes the audio goes out so play with subtitles so you don't miss anything. I'm playing the GOG game on my Win 10. Don't remember if there was an issue when I played the game originally (from Shinyloot).

I have to replay The Awakening soon-ish. When I first played it, I had video issues that I wasn't sure if it was how the game was supposed to look or not. I played it anyway, but I later figured out that it had to do with a Phys-x driver or something like that. A lot of the game was distorted. I thought it was like dream sequence or something. This was many, many years back in my XP days.

Hi everybody!

I remember playing Awakened on my XP machine. It had such a great atmosphere. Still my favorite Sherlock Holmes game.
Right now I started playing Runaway trilogy. Played demo years ago but never got to the actual game itself.

welcome to GameBoomers Felix87. Good to have you here!

I played the Runaway series over 10 years ago. Time for a replay I think.

I just finished The Inner World. It was harder than I remember it but so darn easy once I figured out the solutions laugh . Every time I started getting frustrated I took a break, and when I went back to it I would figure out one more little thing. I'm not sure I'm up to starting the sequel just yet. We'll see.

I find that works for me too, oldbroad. I just walk away for awhile and next time it works or I figure just one more thing!

I'm playing Blue Prince and it is one of the best games ever in my opinion. The puzzles are amazing. thumbsup

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Space Quest Fan, thanks for sharing that. I would like to attempt to play Blue Prince some day. It does look good.

I also like Nibiru, revco. I believe I've played it twice; the last time being in 2018. There are a lot of old games I've been wanting to replay lately but still so many games that I never played that I want to play. I seem to never make any progress with either, and yet, I just keep buying more and more games.

Leeana, no adventures at this time? Did you ever play the Marcella Moon games? There are five of them. I have only played two of them so far. They seem like games you would like.

I haven't started another adventure yet. I'm still working on the Amerzone remake. It is much more slow going than the original but not in a particularly good way. I ended up using the (very nice) built in hint system yesterday in Chapter 3. I know there was an area I probably needed to get into for the "extra story stuff" in the game but I couldn't figure out how to get there so I just had to move on. The hint was not for that. It was for a must do puzzle that was giving me trouble for several days.

I too liked the game except for that lousy ball puzzle towards the end. Without Marita's walkthrough I probably would not have finished the game otherwise. It just seemed out of proportion in difficulty to the other puzzles in the game.
