I will try to make a point of playing The Inner World this year, ob. Good to see you enjoying games, Leeana. They are a real lifesaver for me at times! Mad, my favorite Sherlock Holmes game that is pure adventure is The Awakened. I haven't played all of the games yet, though.

I find that works for me too, oldbroad. I just walk away for awhile and next time it works or I figure just one more thing!

I'm almost finished playing NiBiRu. I forgot how good this game is. I too liked the game except for that lousy ball puzzle towards the end. Without Marita's walkthrough I probably would not have finished the game otherwise. It just seemed out of proportion in difficulty to the other puzzles in the game.

Space Quest Fan, thanks for sharing that. I would like to attempt to play Blue Prince some day. It does look good.
I also like Nibiru, revco. I believe I've played it twice; the last time being in 2018. There are a lot of old games I've been wanting to replay lately but still so many games that I never played that I want to play. I seem to never make any progress with either, and yet, I just keep buying more and more games.
Leeana, no adventures at this time? Did you ever play the Marcella Moon games? There are five of them. I have only played two of them so far. They seem like games you would like.
I haven't started another adventure yet. I'm still working on the Amerzone remake. It is much more slow going than the original but not in a particularly good way. I ended up using the (very nice) built in hint system yesterday in Chapter 3. I know there was an area I probably needed to get into for the "extra story stuff" in the game but I couldn't figure out how to get there so I just had to move on. The hint was not for that. It was for a must do puzzle that was giving me trouble for several days. oldbroad, Blue Prince changes everyday and you learn as you go. It really is fun. I hope you give it a try.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

I'm currently replaying Alida (great game!). Took the CDs I still have and created one folder, then an ISO image of it all, then mounted the ISO image. 2/3 through and it's running A-OK.
Finished Tesla Effect – A Tex Murphy Adventure, along with Tex Murphy: Overseer. Pandora Directive is in progress, working my way backwards (all highly recommended). All run fine in Windows 10 downloaded from GOG.
Blue Prince is definitely on my list, soon to be purchased.
I can't begin to say how grateful I am to GameBoomers for all the assistance, news and recommendations! It all began with the saved game for the Myst IV Spider Chair.
