Sometimes what you post doesn't show up on my Steam account until the next day for some reason or other.

It shows up for me, plain as day.

On your Steam App home page? I'm still not seeing it and I closed the app (exited all the way out of it) and re-opened it a few times today because I keep losing "connection".

There are a good number of events running at the same time oldbroad. Not all of them are advertised on Steam's main whether logged in or not. Steam personalizes your news so an event running may not show up on your logged in main page

Does my "The Hungry Ghost Festival 2025" link in that quote I posted take you to the festival? It should. If you don't see that festival listed when you are logged in here is what you can do to get to it logged in. From that link I posted copy the title of any game. Search it on your logged in Steam. A banner should appear at the top, click on it. You are now in that event logged in and you can go from there

Still not on my main page. I thought it would be today. I found it though under "New & Noteworthy" "Discounts & Events" so I'll check it out. Yes, I could follow your link but if something interests me I might want to put it on my wishlist so I prefer to look at stuff through my app.
