Good Sunday morning. More sunny warmish fall weather. I'd like to take a road trip over to an apple orchard about 25 miles from here. I want to make applesauce this year as I'm down to my last two pints. I don't think I could stand eating the stuff from the store ever again! Ours is simply cooked apples that we put through my electric tomato press and add a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg to. Fantastic stuff.
Not sure if hubby's back is up to it though. Thankfully he has a back injection scheduled for tomorrow.
11 C sounds so cold, Fogfighter! I know we will be heading for that soon though! In the meantime, I'll enjoy our 80 degrees F fall days!
When life gives you tomatoes, make Bloody Marys.

Good morning all.
We're down to temperatures in the teens now, with rain. Good day for gaming.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Monday morning. Another warm sunny DRY beautiful fall day. WADDB is hitting the spot, Gerry!
Soot, I ended up sitting out on the pool deck reading for a couple of hours yesterday - it was so nice out. I had my Merlin app open and heard a bunch more birds that are new to me. Plus, I had two flickers hopping around the yard for at least an hour. My cat Miss M watched every move they made!
Hubby went over to the Pain Clinic and got his back injection this morning. He's not been able to do much for a few weeks, so this will be a relief for him. His sacral joints are starting to flare up, so he went ahead and made an appointment to see the NP before he left. Insurance makes him do that before they can schedule the injections. His entire back is just a mess. But he's 6' 6" tall and it always seems tall people have back problems.

Good morning everyone.
More cold, wet weather. The pond should be completed today. and I'm looking forward to the finished product. I've been missing the sound of the waterfalls and stream.
Draclvr, I sympathize with your husband. Chronic pain is so debilitating. I've been lucky up to now, but for the last six months I have been in constant pain from my right shoulder, sometimes so much so that the pain stops me from doing anything at all (I'm right-handed). I'm hoping to avoid any kind of injection or operation by going to physio and doing the exercises I've been given, but it's been a long haul with no end in sight. And of course I watched John suffer from sacral pain.

Good evening everyone! I keep waiting for my clients to take a break and stay home but no end in sight. Business is still crazy busy!
Drac, I highly recommend this belt for your husband. It's saved me my job last year when I suffered a horrible injury. You can get on Amazon cheaper than from the company. It relieves SI pain quickly!

Good Tuesday morning. Another day just like the others! At least there is abundant sunshine. Ana, is this the belt you are talking about? Serola Sacroiliac Belt

Good morning everyone.
It's a Pilates morning, followed by some grocery shopping.
The pond is complete, and it exceeds my expectations. At night little spotlights in the water shine at the waterfalls, and the whole pond surround has been replanted with more appropriate plants. No more algae! It looks more like a natural stream now and there's twice as much shallow water for the birds to splash in. It'll be lovely to sit out there (if we have any more warm dry weather this year}.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Gerry, I always read but don't have time to properly post. I feel bad not addressing everyone! I do make sure everyone checks in though or I worry! soot, we have to get our hikes in, in the morning too or Nugget gets too overheated. connie, good to see you! Drac, I guess my link didn't show! I'm sorry about that! Yes that is the belt, but I would order direct here or from their Amazon store Here. It is an amazingly effective belt if you make sure and wear correctly. There are videos on proper placement and it is important. My husband wore one after his knee replacements for golfing because he had hip issues from his gait being off from walking on bad knees for years. hagatha, your new water feature sounds fantastic! oldbroad, good to see you! Have a happy day all! FYI, My golden retriever, Nuggets cancer is back and we will have to do surgery again. She could use all the prayers, positive thoughts you can!
