Hagatha, you can't post picture here at Gameboomers. All you can do is link to pictures that you have uploaded elsewhere.

Good Sunday morning. Kinda chilly this morning at 54 degrees F, but supposed to head up to the upper 80's again.
Beautiful day for a road trip to get apples. I didn't get over there last week, but today seems like a good day. We are making our applesauce on Friday.
Great day working down at the Ranch yesterday. We had plenty of volunteers for a change, so I didn't have to do ALL the wagon rides! My voice gives out after about 3 of them! We had a pretty good crowd - I'd guess 150 people.
Have a hankering for home made pizza today, so I'm going to start my dough and leave it to rise while we head over to the orchard later.

Just back from our 3rd cruise of the year, another due in December, that might be our last for a while, people have discovered what a bargain a cruise is, travel food and cabin included is so much cheaper than a hotel, restaurants and travel paid for separately. So of course as more people discover this, the prices seem to have jumped up, oh well, we have so many happy memories to look back on!
I would love to see a picture of your new pond hagatha, it must be nice to sit out in your garden now the wild fire smoke has gone, that was one thing about our last cruise, it was the first time we had been able to sit outside all summer.

Good morning everyone. Oh, the cruise sounds totally awesome Copper, glad you enjoyed it. Paying bills are a necessity OldBroad. Have fun on your 'apple roadtrip' Draclvr. Enjoying a bagel with a cup of WADDB on a break with weekend chores. Have a wonderful day everyone

Good evening (why am I hearing Alfred Hitchcock's voice all of a sudden?)
Gerry, the leak has yet to be identified. I suspect the whole thing will have to be ripped up, sadly. But it's not a big deal for me. It's a local company with 25 years behind them and they aren't going to leave me in the lurch. I feel kind of bad for them.
Went for an absolutely beautiful walk with a friend today in Rathtrevor Park. The trail goes past a marshy river mouth that is being restored; it's a birder's paradise, and of course the Fall migration is happening right now. Lots of Canada Geese. And an amazing number of rabbits.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Monday morning. I just don't understand why these weeks are flying by!
Fogfighter, so glad to hear Amy raged herself tired before she got to you! A member here, Rosaboobie, had some damage at her place in Northern Scotland, but she has already set it to rights and is ready for the next big blow!
Hagatha, now you've got ME hearing Alfred Hitchcock!
Chilly again this morning, so the WADDB is really hitting the spot. Window to the hummingbird porch open to listen to the birds. Very few hummers passing through now. I put up a fresh feeder yesterday and I suspect it will be my last one. Still heading for 85 degrees F today, but back down to the 70's starting tomorrow.

Good morning everyone...the WADDB and bagels hit the spot this Monday morning. Yes, it is amazing Draclvr how the weeks fly by these days. I'll keep my hummingbird feeders up until we get to the day where I haven't seen or heard any hummers for 3 or more days. I always get a kick out of listening to them fuss at me when I'm swapping their feeders. Fogfighter, great news about Amy...those storms are nerve-wracking. Rathtrevor Park sounds marvelous Hagatha. Have a wonderful Monday everyone

Again good evening.
Looks like it is bad news with the pond and they'll have to dismantle it. Not a big deal for me but a real drag for them.
I'm battling severe pain in my shoulder right now. Physio isn't helping (and seems to be making it worse). My GP is starting to talk about X-Rays. I hope it doesn't need to be operated on, since it's my right shoulder and I'm right-handed. I don't have anyone who can look after me. However, the pain has been getting steadily worse for three months now and I'm having to skip Pilates sometimes so something has to change. Even driving can be difficult.
Getting old is not for the faint of heart.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Oh, dear. That doesn't sound good, hagatha. You might as well find out and see what your options are. My sister just had a total shoulder replacement and didn't need any help at all after. It was something called a reverse surgery which is a new way of doing things. Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks, Draclvr. I hope it doesn't come to that, but obviously this can't go on. Since I'm favouring my right shoulder all the time, the rest of me is out of balance and so my back is starting to hurt, too.
I'm trying a new therapy this week at a local medical spa, since physio isn't working. It's a treatment used for athletes so I'll give it a couple of tries.
I just went outside and the moon is absolutely fantastic tonight. What a sight.

Good morning everyone. Hagatha, really hope the new therapy helps your shoulder. Gerry, I expect the hummingbirds will depart sometime this month. Time for a cup of WADDB and danish. Have a great day everyone

Good Tuesday morning. Late to the break room, but I'll still have a cup of WADDB!
Not much going on here... just getting everything set up for making applesauce on Friday. Need to make a run in town to Ace Hardware to get some canning lids. I love having a hardware store where you can buy anything from appliances to kitchen supplies to holiday decor to nuts and bolts.

Good morning everyone.
It's substantially cooler here and time to break out the blankets. It's actually cold outside this morning. Great walking weather, though.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
