That seems like a real nice price for the Dark Pictures & Little Nighmares game bundle. I am not sure if I can play any of them or not but I like the look of them. I have the first Little Nightmares game but never tried it yet and I have looked a few times at those Dark Pictures games. My urge to purchase more games that I don't need may get satisfied. I'll have to think about it a bit though.

That Humble bundle is a good deal oldbroad

I have The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes but have not played it. I did some research on these Dark Picture Games that might help you decide whether or not to grab them

Quote
The Dark Pictures Anthology is a series of standalone, cinematic branching horror games where the decisions you make in the game determine the story and the outcome you receive

Quote
You cannot manual save in The Dark Pictures Anthologies on PC. The Dark Pictures Anthology use a strict auto-save system to prevent players from reloading to an earlier point to undo decisions.

The game saves your progress automatically at certain checkpoints, particularly when moving between scenes and chapters. This design choice is meant to reinforce the consequences of your choices, as a "wrong" decision or a failed Quick Time Event (QTE) cannot be easily undone

Quote
The default keyboard controls for The Dark Pictures Anthology games on PC typically use WASD for movement and the mouse for camera control and interaction. In-game icons and button prompts indicate the correct key to press for specific quick-time events (QTEs), aiming, and other actions.

Universal PC controls:

The following controls are common across games in The Dark Pictures Anthology, though some QTEs and specific interactions will vary by game

Move character: W, A, S, D
Interact: Left mouse button
Camera control: Move mouse
Sprint: Left Shift (can be remapped)
Quick-time event (QTE) controls

The type of QTE will dictate the action required, and an icon on-screen will indicate the correct mouse or keyboard input

Heartbeat challenge: Click the Left mouse button in time with the on-screen icon.

Timed button prompt: Press the corresponding key shown on the screen, typically one of the WASD keys.

Aiming: Move the mouse to position the crosshair within the target area and click the Left mouse button.

Repeated clicks: Click the Left mouse button repeatedly to fill the on-screen circle

Quote
Characters can die in The Dark Pictures Anthologies. The game has a branching storyline based on your choices and quick-time event (QTE) performance. It is possible to have all five main characters survive, or to have all of them perish.

The decisions one makes through dialog and these QTE's will bring you to one of how many endings I do not know. I don't know about you but I have played a number of games like this and enjoyed them

The anthologies are single or co-op played, all single player or online PvP (Player vs Player) except for House of Ashes which is single player or online co-op up to 5 players

House of Ashes is a 47 gig download. Site says 65, a cushion of 18 gig

Thank you for all of that information, Orion! That is a huge download for my 3Mbps download speed but I like that downloads can just be paused and resumed at a later time which is one way that I do those bigger ones. Some of that left mouse mashing is one thing I don't really care for, but mostly in games like this I worry about motion sickness. The price is hard to beat though and I will most likely be purchasing the bundle. Even though all the small amounts I pay for this type of game does add up and is wasted if I cannot play the game, I still go for them. I've spent huge amounts of money on games that I can play but just haven't, so not much difference there. BAAGS you know grin

You will save $165 on the bundle, a very good deal. Whatever you decide to do it is a huge savings whether you play them or just add them to the collection

Another good deal from Humble is Life is Strange: True Colors Bundle. Remastered games run on W10 now. This deal ends 11/7

This Humble Bundle is a great deal offering some highly rated games. $10 minimum for 8 games - Cosmic Mysteries & Noir Realities. This deal ends 10/31

All bundled games are sold separately redeemed on Steam

I looked at the Life is Strange bundle last week but for me, it's not a good deal. I have Life is Strange 1 & 2 but not Remastered. Don't the originals play on Win 10? I haven't tried either of them yet.

I already have 6 of the 8 games in the Cosmic Mysteries & Noir Realities bundle. I usually have all or most of the games in the really good bundles.
