Somehow I made it through that puzzle. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes. I almost gave up to get out of the game again but took one more try. The solve did not look like I thought it was going to though, so I just got lucky!

I finished "Fear for Sale : The 13 Keys [CE]" today - including the bonus chapter .. and DID encounter a "book and a page" puzzle .. but am quite confused as it didn't happen in the room I remember, nor was the room even in the building I remember

I did thoroughly enjoy the game and am very grateful for it having been suggested but feel I still haven't completed my "Which Game Quest ??"

So I might have to look at the other suggestions offered via this thread .. even though it could very well become a lifetime mission !!

Yes. I have considered that game previously. It's another long one, though.

I really need to try and find a "written" walkthrough - and see if I can isolate the section with the book and page ....

I can't find one for Black Widow but the only note I wrote about for those 2 games is that you had trouble with both games in Win 7 but not in Win 10. I don't show that you mentioned any specific glitches.
