Good afternoon everyone ... a chilly start this morning at 25 degrees according to local weather but we bundled up and enjoyed our walk. No birds chirping though as I think it was too cold. So glad you do what you do at the ranch Draclvr. Enjoyed WADDB and bagels this morning.

It's a gorgeous Fall day here, cold but sunny. Went to Pilates and was going to go for a walk but everyone I walk with has the flu that's going around (I had my flu shot a few weeks back). Since I've already worked out today I think I'll enjoy my afternoon with a pot of Masala Chai and my Steam Deck.

These people who mistreat animals don’t suffer anywhere near enough punishment.
They need to be given some of the same treatment they dish out !!!!

Good morning, Danish, Donuts and Bagels in the Break Room. Oldbroad, I was born in New Jersey. My late hubby and I moved to Fla. when I was 22. It was where his family had moved to, and he loved Fla. I still miss the seasons, but probably would have a hard time with the snow. I'm going to see Lynda at the nursing home today. They moved her there yesterday evening. Music Bingo at the Eagles tonight. Enjoy the day and hug someone.

Good Wednesday morning. Nippy in the morning, but gradually warming up nicely.

I have a mammogram scheduled this afternoon. I never mind them.

I hope Lynda heals up quickly at the nursing home and can come home...

Good morning everyone.

Rain is in the forecast for the next four days, so no walking. I have a phone appointment with my doctor this morning to discuss getting a scan for my shoulder, which is definitely not getting better.

After that, a quick run into town and then settling in for a nice quiet afternoon -- apart from getting up every fifteen minutes or so to let one cat out and one back in. I call it the cat exchange system.

I'm trying to work out where best to put a cat flap, but even though I have four exits in this house, two are glass, one is the very nice front door, and the last is through the garage, which might work for Dude if I can train him to go through three doors. But why would he, when there is a human available to open the door?

Why Indeed ???? Hahahaha !!!!

Good afternoon everyone. I thought I posted a this morning but obviously forgot to click the "post reply" button...ha ha. We warmed up to 31 F this morning so a cool but not too cold walk...and finished the day at 73 F...typical fall weather. Wishing Lynda a speedy recovery. I enjoyed a couple of cups of WADDB and bagels and then took off for groceries and errands.

It's pouring rain today. I'm driving up to Comox this morning to have my shoulder X-rayed; I could go to the hospital in Nanaimo, but it's old and dreary and very busy and Comox has a nice clean new hospital. I like the drive, anyway, and afterwards i can go to Costco and maybe have lunch in one of our old favourite places.

Good morning everyone. Went exploring last night to view the Northern Lights but they were a no-show in my neck of the woods....c'est la vie. So slept in an extra hour before heading to the park for a walk with Max. And then it was time to enjoy several cups of WADDB and bagels.

I finally made my semi annual trip to the bank. I've been trying to get myself there for a month now. Every time I go I tell myself that since I am dressed and ready I should take myself for a walk but I never do. Today was no exception. Right back into my pj's and drinking my coffee. It is a nice day for a walk, around 50 F and sunny. I did leave my clothes on the bed (another tactic) but I'm pretty sure they won't get used again today. Ah well.

Good Thursday afternoon! Had to do some running around this morning, so only got a quick cup of WADDB before I left.

Needed a new computer chair. Something is amiss with my Razer Izgur gaming chair - which I won in a contest - and it was miserable to sit it. I tried turning it over and fixing it, but couldn't see what was wrong. So, I just got a new one. SOOOO comfy! I'll put the Razer chair on Marketplace.

Last night closing/feeding at the Ranch tonight. The new starved guy is finally not quite so food aggressive. He is anxious for his food, but no pinning back his ears and trying to push me out of the way. Poor thing is just a skeleton.

League bowling tonight, so by the time I'm done at the Ranch, it will be a very late night!

I could really use a nice comfy chair, sigh.

Oldbroad, I know how difficult it can be to get motivated. It's been a battle since John died. I sometimes have to force myself out of the house. That's one of the reasons I keep going to Pilates even with my shoulder pain -- it's a commitment I have to keep. I always feel better after a walk, too.

Draclvr, I remember you winning that chair! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the horse. I hope he's gets well again. Any idea how old he is?

Hagatha do you have the results of your shoulder X-ray yet? Draclvr I hope the rescue horse continues to improve. Oldbroad sometimes it is hard to get motivated to go for a walk, but it does make you feel good when you do! I am lucky to have to "old neighbors" that also like to walk and we do motivate each other to get out there every day.

WooHoo, we're back! Ana,

I hope you all are enjoying the day! I called AT&T and have an appointment for a week from tomorrow to upgrade my landline and internet to Fiber. I will be worrying all week about it (of course). I just hope they will be able to access everything that they will need to. After getting annoyed one minute into my "conversation" with the AI or whatever it is, I waited for 10 minutes or so and the woman who helped me was from North Carolina. She was the nicest and most helpful person I have ever spoken to there and I made sure to tell her that!

Now, on to my grocery list.

Glad you’re back up and running… I like my GB fix in the morning. 😁

Sorry for the forum being down all day. It was not intentional. I'm just happy we are back!
