Good Sunday morning. Cold and dreary here - perfect for my first cup of WADDDB!
I have to unload and load up the dishwasher one more time and the cleanup is done and I can put my kitchen back to rights. The floors will have to wait for another day. I told hubby I wasn't cooking anything, so he made himself a turkey and Swiss sandwich with the last of the Thanksgiving turkey.
Seems like a good day to do a little gaming!

Good morning everyone.
It's another nasty, rainy day. I have to run into town to drop off a couple of return packages and then I'm off to look at washers and dryers. All of the appliances in my house were already well-used when the previous owners built this place, and the washing machine is disgusting, with mould growing right into the rubber flange. I've already had to replace the fridge.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Monday morning. Cold here, but sunny
Just making a run in town to mail off the Christmas box to the Colorado grandkids. I've been requested to include more bottles of my hot sauce.

Good morning everyone.
More rain. The pond guys and I were hoping for a few dry days to test the pond's water level but I think at this point we should just start it up. It's December in BC, after all. The chance of having no rain for three or four days is virtually zero. The new shrub will be planted beside the pond on Friday so i can now see what the whole thing will look like.
I bought the new washer and dryer, nice sleek, smaller models that won't take up half of my narrow laundry room/mud room. The old ones are really huge. I'll be glad to see them gone.
If the rain lets up a bit at any point I'll go for a walk to test my new, allegedly waterproof walking shoes.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good morning! Yet a day when mrs Sun is hiding. She is very shy nowadays. Not even WADDB can bring her forward. Happy Tuesday GameBoomers

Good morning everyone. Nothing like a cup of WADDB and toasted Bagels to warm you up in the morning. Have a great day and take care

Good Tuesday morning. I would be a nice morning at 45 degrees F, but it's very windy, so feels very cold.
Laundry and filthy floors today! Good times.

We've got upper 30's right now with rain falling on top of the snow, and it's windy. Then it's supposed to get colder again and will ice everything up. So worse than last winter already.
That one cat that comes in our house has spent a few nights here but goes back out for a few hours in the morning. My brother feels bad because he seems to be hurt with a sore on his paw or leg and had been limping, and of course, my brother can't touch him to try to get him to the vet. One of the other cats sits outside the window for hours and stares in at my brother and sometimes is there late at night. My brother thinks he may be looking for food but feeds him a couple of times during the day and so far, has ignored him two different late nights. As it is, he gets up about an hour earlier than he used to so he can feed the cats. He is spending more on cat food now than he did when we had 6 cats. I used to buy food then though also, but not now.
Speaking of food, I have my "Fireside Beef Stew" ingredients in my slow cooker for tomorrow's meal. I haven't turned it on yet. I'll wait until I'm going to bed I think, but I always worry about it being on while I'm in bed and don't sleep good, but I don't sleep very good anyway so I guess it doesn't matter. I know most people use a slow cooker while they are at work. That is something I never did. I didn't trust it, especially with the cats.
If I don't stop back in later, I hope you each enjoy your Wednesday!

Good morning everyone! 5 Celsius and cloudy. Haven't seen mrs Sun in weeks it seems. But I'm confident she exists somewhere behind ms Cloud. No cat or coffee drama here. The WADDB is reliably black and I saw a black cat outdoors the other day. Happy Wednesday GameBoomers!

Good Wednesday morning. A miserable day with temps in the upper 30's F, but with wind gusting to over 50 mph. Still better than oldbroad's weather though - that's awful.
WADDB is hitting the spot this morning!

Good morning all,
We've got rain, rain and rain, plus high winds.
We had a power outage the other day. After several hours with no tea and the threat of a cold sandwich for dinner, I've finally ordered one of those indoor generators, which is really just a huge battery with outlets for things like phones and kettles and coffee machines. I live in a heavily treed area and one tree over a hydro line can cut off power for a very long time if the rest of the Coastal area has multiple outages. Everyone on my street has some kind of backup generator. I have my propane fireplace for heat if needed, but my cold-drip coffee just doesn't cut it on a windy winter morning.

Good morning everyone; It's a cold one this morning, 4F or -16C. Sent hubby out into the cold cruel world to get a few groceries. If you're venturing out be careful & stay safe, you don't want to fall on black ice.
A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand.

Good morning everyone. Great news about Ruthie Connie...hope Lynda is recovering well too. Hagatha, you might consider keeping a french press to make hot coffee when you lose power. It was cold here this morning too. In fact we had a 'freezing fog' advisory...which was neat as the last time I encountered freezing fog was 40+ years ago when flying. WADDB and bagels on Hump Day! 🐪 Have a wonderful day everyone
