Well, today is clean up day, we had quite the blizzard yesterday, weather report said 6 inches but with the wind & blowing snow it's up to our knees in some places around the parking lot, couldn't even see our car this morning completely covered in.The snow was partly up our front door. There was over a 100 car pile up on the highway between Edmonton & Calgary. OK, I'm done with snow, don't want any more, just spring LOL. Still have to go out today & tomorrow for last minute Christmas shopping.
If you are going out please stay safe out there.

I'm so glad to hear Mr. Gobbles is on the mend. I've been afraid to ask.

Judith, that car pileup -- how horrible. I like a little bit of snow, but it sounds like you're just plain snowed in. I remember heavy snow in Toronto growing up. it was just part of life. Here, of course, there's about two snowplows in all of the region so plowing is very slow and our street never gets done.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

hagatha; I don't know what's worse, my snow or all your rain. My daughter lives in Crofton & she said all this rain is so depressing.

Judith, the rain is depressing. It's been going on for weeks now and there's no sign of a letup. On the other hand, a lot of people here really don't know how to drive in snow and even a couple of inches can create chaos.

On the bright side, the heavy rainfall releases me from any guilt at spending my days gaming. grin

I've unpacked my little generator and it's charging up now. I should get myself an electric frying pan or a toaster oven for cooking in a power outage. It's got 4 USB outlets and four regular outlets and apparently plenty of power for days of use if needed. It can even run a small heater or fridge. Dandy little thing -- it's a cube about 68 x 13 inches and can be carted around as needed.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
