Oldbroad, no sooner had I posted this when I got a response from brother-in-law Mike. That's a relief. It occurs to me that if something happened to him I'd never know. He's the last of John's family apart from distant cousins.

My study should be finished today. Yay! I can get all the books off my living room floor and onto the shelves.

Good Wednesday morning. Very windy and cold, but sunny here. Glad I'm not working outside!

Visitors arrived yesterday. Hubby is getting a nerve block for his lower back this morning. He will be glad for the relief as he's been pretty miserable.

My floors are awful, so while everyone is gone for the day, it's a good time to tackle them.

It's quite warm here, but still raining. I haven't been for a walk for ages. It's a good thing I'm mostly keeping up with the Pilates. The weather has been too miserable for anything outdoors.

I managed to set up most of the study yesterday and I'm feeling quite stiff this morning. It looks great, though. I have room enough for all of my existing books and still have lots of shelf space left over in the cabinets.
