LOL! Oldbroad, I can just sit around with the best of them! But only up to a point. Then I start feeling sluggish and don't want to move. Only when I get up and go do something or go for a walk do I feel better. But that's just me.

I'm happy to hear that Mr. Gobbles made it. That was welcome news. It must be so rewarding to save a life that was so close to the end. Now hopefully he'll have someone who will cherish him.

I need to get back into my walking routine. I've lost quite a bit of fitness over this shoulder pain, which has restricted my activity level since last summer. The jury is out on the new therapy but I'm hopeful it will help.

Good Wednesday afternoon.

So, the funeral and meal afterward is over. It was very cool to see our granddaughter as one of the pall bearers in her Army uniform. She heads back to Texas where she is stationed Friday morning. I think everyone else is napping right now!

Company leaves tomorrow morning. They will be running ahead of this epic ice storm that is starting out in Texas and moving out to Virginia where they live. We are supposed to be back in the single digits with possible heavy snow this weekend.

I too am happy to hear Mr. Gobbles continues to do well. Hagatha I hope you get to start walking again...it is so nice to enjoy the fresh air...even when its cold! Draclvr you are finally getting a break from company...maybe some time to relax! Judith hope you are doing well.

The Arctic cold will be arriving here tomorrow and Saturday night we are expecting a snow storm that could drop a foot of snow by Monday morning!

Good Thursday morning. Company headed back to Virginia this morning. Peace and quiet again! Now to tackle the mountains of laundry. But first enjoying my WADDB all by myself.

I sure hope the issue isn't on your property, Connie. Depending on local regulations, usually anything from the middle of the street to your house is your responsibility. And that can get expensive!

Happy Thursday! Connie, that sounds awful! I hope you get it fixed quickly. My kitchen sink pipe recently sprung a leak. I've got a bucket under it. Also, the car doesn't want to start. Brother doesn't have much food and I'm running out of toilet paper. Am just praying that the arctic blast will not create more issues. Last I heard, our high temperature for Friday is supposed to be 1 below zero. I don't think we're in the snow zone though, but I'm not sure.

Good afternoon everyone; it's -7 but with the windchill it's -20. a good day to stay in doors & read a good book. I am doing nothing today & it's going to be KD for dinner, just spoon it into two bowls & done. This evening I'll be watching 911 & then the hockey game, a very boring but nice & relaxing day.

I had to Google "KD". Your day sounds fine to me. Not my particular choices for TV watching but still good.

I am wishing I hadn't gotten aggravated last week while trying to make a grocery list (I didn't end up with one). I could use a couple of ingredients to make a pot of Chili. Oh well. I'm eating breakfast sausage, an egg, and cinnamon toast right now.

I had to look KD up too, oldbroad! Breakfast for supper or lunch is always good.

Judith we will be getting your bitter cold temps this weekend along with a 1 1/2 feet of snow by Monday. The snow will start Sunday morning...wind chills and temps will be in the -30s.

I looked up KD too...a Kraft Dinner...like mac and cheese?

Good morning, Danish, Donuts and Bagels in the Break Room. They have to dig a large tree root out and put a cleanout in to keep this from happening again. The tree is on the right away, considered our property. These old houses do not have cleanouts. There is also water in the walls in my bathroom. One of my sons is a carpenter and can take care of that. Enjoy the day and hug someone.

Good Friday morning. A lovely 10 degree F here and going down to below zero temps this weekend. We are in a band of forecase snoe of 7 - 11 inches. Thankfully it's not Gerry's foot to a foot and a half! Hubby has the snow blade on the big tractor and is ready for it. We will probably drive down to the horse rescue and pick up RayLynn to have her shovel our sidewalk for $20! That's all supposed to happen Saturday into Sunday.

I was thinking the same thing, oldbroad... hope Fogfighter didn't fall victim to an icicle!

Seems like a good day to make a pot of soup and bake some bread... vegetable beef and barley or chicken tortilla? Hmmm...

Good morning everyone. Oooo, I love KD ... yes Gerry, KD is Kraft Max n' Cheese down here in the lower 48 ... I enjoy KD quite often! It looks like we'll miss the artic blast that's hitting many folks north of us...which is fine as we're not equipped to handle that sort of weather...we'll enjoy the rain. Keeping you in my thoughts Connie to get repairs completed.
