It is snowing already here and the temps are going to drop all day. It will be bitter cold by this afternoon with wind chills. Hope you all have better weather!

Good morning everyone and welcome to the weekend. Brrr....sounds like the perfect day to stay indoors and enjoy your WADDB and Connie's bagels Gerry. Yes indeed Fogfighter thank you for the early morning emergency rations. Tackling taxes early is great Draclvr. Son and niece are away for a couple of days so we're enjoying peace and quiet. Sink maintenance (solenoid filter cleaning) is on my to-do list for today.

I need that emergency coffee! My espresso machine is not working properly. I think it needs a new pump. In the meantime, I'll have to look up how to use my French press.

It's raining heavily here. I'm going out for dinner with a friend but in the meantime I'm going to sit in front of the fire and read.

Good Saturday morning. Chilly and breezy, but the sun is out, so I'll take it!

This is going to be a sitting around day. My heel is just screaming at me. I set up the ice machine they gave us for hubby's knee replacement and am trying ice and more rest today. I'm sitting here looking at my kitchen floor that needs mopping.... grrrr. That doctor appointment can't come soon enough next Tuesday.

I got about 3 inches of new snow yesterday, but the wind caused it to drift into feet of snow in my driveway. Bitter cold here today...going to spend the day watching the Olympic games.

Good Sunday afternoon. Slow start to the day, but the WADDB was especially nice this morning.

Not much interested in the Super Bowl football game today, but I am making my traditional home made pizza. I might watch some of it and will definitely watch the half time show as I really like Bad Bunny and some of the other entertainers.

It was a bitter cold windy day yesterday, but my friend and neighbor and I were able to get in a nice walk...the sun was shining and we could feel its warmth!

It will reach the 20s today...going to feel like a heat wave!

Good Monday morning! Supposed to be unseasonably warm today and the sun is shining.

Nothing on the agenda today - I do need to make a run in town to pick up special kitty food. My last remaining cat gets crystals in her urine, so I have to feed her this super expensive food.

Still just sitting around on these darned heel spurs. Hope I can at least get some answers at the podiatrist tomorrow. I can sit around with the best of them, but this is starting to drive me nuts! With the nicer weather I could be taking walks down to the woods!

It's a nice day although rain is forecast for later. I'm enjoying a nice quiet day in front of the tv catching up on my shows . Dude sits behind me on the back of the couch and Willow in my lap. Very cozy.

I thought some of you might like to see this video of Mr. Gobbles. This is from last Saturday. He is just now strong enough to balance on 3 legs for our ground work team to start working with him. Laura - all 4' 10" of her! - is the head of our groundwork training program. He wouldn't let anyone near his feet or legs, so they are going slow, slow, slow and steady with him so he can hopefully have the farrier trim his hooves in the near future.

And I hope you can get some relief from the bone spur problem very soon and that something positive comes from your appointment on Tuesday.

I don’t use Facebook, Draclvr, so if I can get to see that very special horse via another route it would be splendid !!
