Nice to see you all! My internet has been down which I thought was not going to happen now that I have Fiber. Oh well. It is up now but the Fiber Land Line Phone is not working.

Well, I have quite an impressive bone spur, but he said it's the plantar fasciitis that is causing the pain. I kind of figured that because the inserts I got for my shoes really helped. So, he gave me a - very painful! - steroid shot in my heel. So, we'll see if that helps. I just have to continue my exercises to stretch than tendon to get it to heal. It's all pretty sore from the injection, but the heel feels better already. So, I guess we'll see what happens! I'm hoping I can bowl Thursday night and take a walk down to the woods later this week! The weather in kind of nice and all I could do was look longingly at my path down to the woods!

Glad you are back on-line oldbroad. I too thought that wasn't supposed to happen any more with the fiber!

10 pins or 5 pins? I was good at 5 pins when it existed but I suck at 10 pins.

Hi, Starcom! League bowling is only 10 pins. In fact, I've never heard of bowling with 5 pins! I'm usually pretty mediocre, but before this foot blew up on me I was bowling really well! I had a 205 one night and the game before I had to quit for the night I had a 169! Very unusual for me, but I hated having to give up a good streak!

5 pin bowling was quite popular in Canada up until the early 80s and then 10 pin took over and slowly most of the 5 pin alleys closed down or converted to 10 pins.

5 pin bowling happened in the states but did not get much popularity since you already had 10 pins.

I did get to see the video by closing the sign in box...it went right to the video as Starcom said. Oldbroad I will be getting fiber optic internet and landline phone soon. Frontier finally has run the cable. I do hope I don't have any issues with my landline once it is converted to fiber optic.

Good morning everyone. Glad to hear you're improving Draclvr...I've had a steroid shot before in my foot when I started having neuropathy pain issues in my feet. But, just that one time...as it hurt worse than the neuropathy pain!!! We used to bowl candlepins when we were kids as we could hold/roll the smaller ball. Woke to the low 60s this morning for my walk with Max...definitely not our normal winter morning temp. Gerry, the fiber should improve your internet speeds but when you lose power I am thinking your landline phone won't work as it is a voice over internet protocol (VoIP) phone. No internet, no phone. Be sure to keep you cell phone service. Time for WADDB and bagels!!
