hagatha, calcium supplements are no longer recommended. They took me off them at least 15 years ago. But you are doing the things that will keep osteoporosis at bay - staying active and walking! After age 65, a bone density scan is definitely recommended.

When life gives you tomatoes, make Bloody Marys.

I'll ask my doctor about the calcium. I take a liquid supplement, but mostly I eat tons of dairy since Greek yogurt and cottage cheese don't require cooking.

The dancing is the best cardio exercise I've had in years. It's literally an hour and a half of fast footwork and having to keep your brain working at the same time to remember all the steps. We get a five-minute water break, and that's it.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I don't like yogurt, but I think it's the texture more than anything. Probably the same reason I don't like pudding! But I did find a yogurt that has 20 G of protein - which I know I don't get enough of - and the texture is more like a soft serve ice cream. The flavors are really good too. Cottage cheese is a favorite too - especially with blueberries added!
