Still couldn't get past my battle but still didn't skip it. The guide doesn't give a solution, just how to play. The way I thought I would win, was incorrect. That just brought one of my dead guys back to life. I wish I could see the door I'm trying to reach. It feels like it's 20 levels away but I suppose it's probably only 10.

Edit: Finally I see the bar that shows me moving up the levels. I get somewhere between halfway and the top then it's all over!

Ob, It sounds like a puzzle that I would have ended up skipping.

Tally Ho, Fate's Carnival is one of the greats.

Mad, I hope you enjoy your game. wave

Mad, I'm glad you are enjoying Tibetan Quest. It is installed on my computer, waiting.

I think I’d be hitting the skip button long before you, oldbroad !!

It has to be a very special game for me to be willing to persevere for that long these days slapforehead

Mad, I just skipped another puzzle that I didn't even work on for 5 minutes. It was making me mad but in a bad way. You are supposed to slide these lever things up and down so they line up across but the darn things didn't want to move right. I'd click and try to drag and it would just sit there. I'm pretty sure it was just bad controls as opposed to something I was doing wrong. duh

I’ve experienced problems like that too, oldbroad, and they are very tiresome 👎

I finished Lilly's Flower Shop Match 3 and started The Adventures of Mary Ann - Lucky Pirates. I cannot describe it. It's different for me. Match 3 battles with squids and things. I am playing in timed mode and I guess it's going okay. Still figuring out what I'm doing but what I like about it is, it's very easy to find the instructions and they are pretty easy to understand. laugh

I am still playing Grim Tales: The Stone Queen. I do like the game but am getting stuck every 30 minutes for some reason. Not on puzzles; just on not finding things to help push me along. I have used the guide a couple of times already as well as skipped the two puzzles mentioned previously.

Ob, I have the Mary Ann pirates game and have never played more than fifteen minutes of it, so I understand about figuring out what you are doing. smile

Tally Ho, I hope you enjoy the new 5 BN game! I feel the same way that you do about this company. thumbsup

And I finished Gaslamp Cases #10 today.

I installed today's daily deal, a jigsaw puzzle game, with every intention of trying and buying it. Pressed Play, and got the message that it won't run on my screen resolution. My resolution is the recommended 1920 x 1080. Everything else runs on it; that's the first time I have been hit with that problem. The solution? Delete the game and move on. I am not changing my settings to comply with the developers' bad programming.

And yes I am enjoying the 5BN game. It comes in three chapters, their recent style. One chapter (with LOTS of puzzles) down, two more to go.

Tally Ho, I just downloaded and installed the Daily Deal. I am using the same screen resolution that you are. The game started right up. duh

Good to hear you are enjoying Legendary Tales, though. wave

I'm a little confused. Just finished a replay of Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink. Pretty good game, but not great. Here's where the confusion comes in. The game is by Artifex Mundi. I purchased Clockwork in 2013, and I'm guessing that is very close to it's release date. The game Enigmatis - Ghosts of Maple Creek, also an Artifex Mundi game, and the first game to use its Spark HO engine, was released in 2011. And Mists of Ravenswood, IMO the best of the trilogy story-wise, was also released in 2013. My confusion? Clockwork Tales and the first two games of the Enigmatis trilogy (which, if you recall, are near the top of my Top 20 list,) look as if the were produced by two entirely different companies. It's as if the graphic designers went to two different schools. And there's no hint that they even used their own Spark engine, which became the industry standard two years earlier.

For whom the games toll.
They toll for thee.

That is interesting. All I know is that sometimes Artifex Mundi was the designer and publisher of their games, and sometimes they were only the publisher. This might explain part of this.

Steam shows all those games with Aritfex Mundi as both the developer and publisher. (Just adding my 2 cents!) smile

Yes, that appears to be the case, ob. I just looked at Steam. Thanks!
