I'm about due for a purge of old clothing too. I tend to wear things until they wear out, so a lot of it just gets pitched in the trash.

Draclvr old clothes tend to last a long time because the quality was ever so much better so clothes lasted so much longer. In todays' world most people live in jeans and comfortable clothes...nothing fancy just practical. Few dress up for work like we had too and then there are all those that work from home and have no need for a "work wardrobe".

Monday Monday good morning everyone. I may attempt to revive my lawn mover as spring has sprung and summer is just around the corner. The mower quit working last summer and I just switched to my trusty push mower. Loving the WADDB and bagels.

Good Monday morning. It was so windy yesterday I had to abandon my yardwork and here we go again today! At least it's warmish.

Gerry, my career was as a field inspector with our State Department of Natural Resources. My division was responsible for enforcing the Clean Water and Clean Air State Regulations. I mostly inspected sewage treatment plants for compliance, so my work wardrobe was jeans and steel-toed boots! We also worked a lot of water pollution complaints. One day it was about 94 degrees and there I was sitting cross-legged at the edge of a small creek collecting samples and doing my reagents. I looked up and there was a steady trickle of pure hog manure trickling into the creek about 10' away and to my left, someone had dumped a dead hog about 20' up the creek and it was ummm... RIPE! I just laughed at myself and my glamorous job! Needless to say, the guy got a Notice of Violation and I referred him to our Attorney General's Office for enforcement.

At least you worked in and with the $h!^, not for it!

Good morning, Danish, Donuts and Bagels in the Break Room. Soot, I just bought a new weedeater and a new blade for the mower. Time to mow and weedeat weekly. Thankfully I have the 3 guys here to do it. We're starting to replace some of the plants that froze. Enjoy the day and hug someone.

Good morning everyone...happy Tuesday to you all. Groceries are on my schedule today but first I'm going to have WADDB and Bagels. I'm also going to try and revive my lawn mower which I didn't to yesterday... we shall see as I also need to work on weeds in the garden.

Good Tuesday morning. Jeez, it's supposed to be 90 degrees today! NOT ready for that.

Hubby usually takes the riding lawn mower and the tillers in town to a place to have the oil changed and a tune up. I remember after my second husband died, I used to change the oil myself.

Yeah, weeds are rapidly becoming my life again. Blech.

Not much happening around here. It's Willow's turn for her annual checkup.

When I bought this house with its big lot I knew I wouldn't be able or willing to keep up with the yard work. Having a landscaper come once a month is a real retirement treat for me.

We were in the 80s yesterday and will be again today! Way too hot for this time of year. The gnats are out in full force making it difficult to walk later in the day. I plan on walking very early this morning while the temps are in the 60s and hopefully not buggy!

Good Wednesday morning. Just have time for a quick cup of WADDB and then we're heading over to the hospital in the next town. Hubby is having surgery to implant an Inspire device for his sleep apnea. He ignored his sleep apnea and let it go so long that it caused his heart to go into permanent A-Fib. Men! He gave the CPAP device his very best, but it just didn't work. So, he is getting this device implanted. A few friends have gotten it implanted and say it has really helped them.

Good morning everyone. Yep, yep, weeds are a part of my life too Draclvr…and you can keep the heat…we'll keep your hubby in our prayers. I can only imagine you would need the extra help Hagatha. Gnats bug me too Gerry…but like Fogfighter, they are not out in force yet down here. Have fun at Music Bingo tonight Connie…that sounds like a lot of fun. Time for more WADDB and bagels.
