Good Morning everyone! Wide Awake Double Dark Brew is ready. Draclvr I hope hubby is doing well after his surgery and the implant helps. Soot it is early for those pesky bugs, but the high 80s temps, sunny sky, and humidity is just what they like to become active! Hope you all have a great day! Gerry

Good Thursday morning. Fogfighter, we had heavy duty thunderstorms last night with thousands of lightning strikes across the region. We had a tornado warning - meaning rotation has been seen - but it never fully formed into a tornado. Sunny and cooler today, but I'm sure it's muddy out there!
Hubby's surgery went well and he has two large bandages - one over the incision on the chest where the implant is and one in his neck where the lead is placed under the tongue. I guess they somehow run the lead up under the skin. The incision on the neck is really sore because you move your head a lot. He will see the surgeon's office in a week for post-op and then he will be turned back over to the sleep doctor. The will turn the device on in about 30 days and then start making adjustments to get it to work for him correctly. The damage to his heart caused by the sleep apnea cannot be undone, but hopefully this can keep it from getting worse.
Heading out to pick asparagus which bolted up about 2 feet after all the rain last night!

Good morning, all,
Draclvr, I hope the post-op recovery goes well.
It's a gorgeous morning here, but cold. My garden has burst into leaf this past week. I must remind my landscaper about the two trees I'm supposed to be getting.
Today is dance day, so I'll spend a couple of hours reviewing the notes and videos from last week. In last week's class I actually hit a wall where there was one move I could not, for the life of me, learn. That was towards the end of the class, when i was getting tired. It is very good exercise.
This morning I'll pack up some old towels for the local cat rescue.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
