Sadly, I have reached the point in Discworld where Sir Terry's young-onset Alzheimer's, which in true Pratchett form he referred to as an "Embuggerance," becomes evident. By any other measure they're still good books and worth reading except for possibly the very last one., but compared to his writing at its best, they are saddening.
Next I'll head for my shelves, which are full of books I bought ages ago and didn't read, notably some by Iain Banks, Alastair Reynolds and Peter Hamilton.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

It was a good one, SQF. I also finished and enjoyed the 3rd Bobiverse novel, and I've just started Alchemised, a dark fantasy by SenLin Yu. I'm only on page 37 out of 1024, but it grabbed me from the first page.
Right now my dream job would be driving a Zamboni over ice.

I love Joe Abercrombie. I reread his two trilogies last Fall.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I've heard that's a crazy series, SQF.

LadyKestrel I had hoped to get some reading in this weekend but never got to it. So far the book is very unique. I'm looking forward to getting back into it.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

At the moment my reading is in fairly short bursts and I am nibbling my way through the first of Harlan Ellison's Dangerous Visions series, having at last finished all 9 books of the wonderful Expanse saga from SA Corey. LadyK, as you enjoyed his other books, I strongly suggest that you try City of Stairs by Robert Jackson Bennett.
Life is what happens while you're making other plans.
