Good morning everyone.

Yesterday was summer! For the first time I was able to leave my French door open a crack for the cats to come in and out, and I'm finally able to turn the heat off in the house. All my trees are fully in leaf and my Rhodos in bloom.

The pond is looking very lovely now that all the new plants have grown a bit. Once I get the power washing done it will be a little oasis. I might treat myself to new seat cushions this year.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Tuesday morning. So in the mid-80's yesterday and today in the mid-50's! Must be crazy spring weather! Just enough rain last night to make it muddy again.

Hubby is getting the first of two nerve ablations on his neck. They will do one on each side. He's had two surgeries back in the 90's on his cervial spine in the neck and between them is riddled with arthritis. I'm going along just in case he needs a driver as he's taking some pain medication before the procedure.

Good morning. I've been cringing every time I use my water since Connie mentioned her plumbing issue. I have many of those myself but not quite as bad. Today though, no phone line again. I hate this fiber phone line. Have I mentioned that before? Every time the wind blows it goes out, just like with the copper line and is just not as private and secure feeling.

Anyway, I do hope you each enjoy your day!

Good day everyone; 48F today with a chill in the air, it still does not feel like spring yet. Enjoy your garden hagatha, it sounds just lovely.

Judith, I hope your summer is a good one after this awful "Spring."

The garden is one reason I bought this place. It almost makes up for the fact that I no longer have a view. It's very private and very peaceful and the birds love it.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Morning Everyone! Wide Awake Double Dark Brew is ready. wave

Draclvr I hope all went well with the procedure on hubby's neck...sending healing prayers. Hagatha your garden sounds lovely...a nice place to sit and enjoy the birds and the fresh air.

I will be having company for a couple weeks so I will not be visiting the break room for a while...I'll try and pop in when I can. smile

Wishing you all a great day! spring

Good morning everyone.

It has clouded over and hopefully we'll get some rain. We're already in Stage 2 water restrictions and soon it will be stage 3.

As I have no plans for the day I think I'll review the dances for tomorrow -- our instructor sends us an email each week with the dances, the steps and videos so that we can practise. I'm not diligent enough to review them all, but I always pick the dance that looks the most complicated and practise that one.

Since I started dancing my blood pressure has dropped into the mid 130's, a full ten point drop from its previous level. The medication I'm taking doesn't work all that well, but it's better than nothing and I don't get get horrible side effects from it. If I can improve the situation without an increase in dose, I'll be happy to keep on with the dancing. I guess I just needed to add some cardio to my fitness regime.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Wednesday afternoon. Had a bunch of running around to do this morning. Sun is out but I'm still in a sweatshirt!

Hubby's procedure went well yesterday. It was NOT fun, but should help the pain he has in his neck. A second procedure on the other side is scheduled in a couple of weeks.

Ugh! Just spent over an hour on the phone with AT&T. Anyone got a shot of whiskey they can share with me?

"Our" cat seems to have a problem with his paw or leg. He acts like he wants to go out and my brother tells him "I don't think so" and the cat gives up, so we know it is probably hurting him. He has spent most of the last 2 days in my living room.

Enjoy the evening everyone!
