Olga is a cozy first-person linear mystery game set in a Slavic inspired mountain village, where you relive Olga's childhood memories as she visits her grandparents' home in Belovodica and uncover its dark secrets.

About Olga - Episode 1:

Olga is a linear-adventure, first-person, folkloric cozy mystery set in a quiet Slavic-inspired village during the waning days of autumn. Beneath its warm visuals and gentle pacing, the game has its own eerie and unsettling moments. The atmosphere leans more toward mystery and quiet tension than outright fear, though things grow darker and more intense towards the end of the first episode. As players explore misty paths and candlelit cottages, they uncover ghostly memories and hidden truths, all wrapped in a soft, introspective tone that invites wonder.

Olga’s visuals are inspired by Slavic folklore, tradition and architecture, brought to life through a vibrant and stylized art direction. The mechanics and interactions are rooted in Slavic culture as well. The game draws its soul from an old book about Belovodica, a small and isolated Balkan village, which serves as the foundation for Olga’s atmosphere and storytelling. (The game is inspired but not entirely realistic as it will feature supernatural moments and some adjustments to reality in favor of the story and gameplay.)

Rooted in Balkan hearth culture, the game invites players to slow down, breathe, and immerse themselves into a world where ancestral omens and domestic Slavic rituals become cozy and mysterious interactive systems. With it's gentle pace and low-stress gameplay, Olga invites players to step into a wholesome journey filled with warmth and quiet spooky wonder.

What to expect:

Slow-paced, there’s no need to rush
No Combat Systems
Linear
Spooky-Cozy and Short
Inspired by Slavic Tradition and Architecture
Pleasant and easy-going, Not Demanding

Gameplay Overview:
Olga won't feature a combat system or complex gameplay mechanics that require lots of thinking, planning, and quick reactions. There will be mini-puzzles and some challenges but their goal is to provide a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment to the player after completing them due to how straightforward they are. Our goal is not to force the player to think, but instead provide logical and simple encounters that match the storyline and make a lot of sense when it comes to finding the solution, much like everyday tasks we run into in our daily life.

Our game is the perfect formula for engagement, enjoyment, immersion, entertainment, and relaxation, meaning it's a great pick for those who want to wind down and engage in gameplay that's not demanding yet still evokes a lot of feelings.

Happy Gaming!
