Hi GameBoomers! I have created a super short interactive story type program. Unfortunately it is kind of work in progress and runs on obscure OS like ReactOS, XP or Debian Linux. However it's short enough to be shown here. The title is Dark Night and the super short story is about a protagonist played by the user, you, who get to make four choices. Not much perhaps but the choices affect the outcome and it started get messy for me as the number of cases grew. The best cases involves mutton pie and the worst ones degrees of misery. I'll let you guys chose and then I'll present the outcome and the new options. Until we've completed the four choises. Title is Dark Night. The first paragraph: This dark and windy night. Dogs are barking far away. Your options are, A: You light a candle, grab a book and a blanket and sit down in a chair near the fireplace And B: You put on your boots and coat, grab a walking stick and leave your house What do you do?

A bold move The result: You walk along the ancient road. The road that leads down to the bay. Water whirling in the air. Soon your cape is soaking wet. Time to make the second choice (out of four) Option A: The cold rain is hitting your face. You turn around and return to home. Or option B: Keep walking along the old road. Eventually you'll get there.

A brave choice. And the result: Too late to turn around now. Bummer, what a mistake. I should have stayed at home, you think Now for the third fork you got options A: Keep walking along the old road. and B: Chose the shortcut over the moor.

Oh no, the rain is mixed with snow, You wish you never left your home. Finally around the bend you see a faint but welcome glow. Option A: You hear a dog barking down the shore. Better go have a look. Option B: Ignoring the sound you walk towards the light. That ought to be the pub.

No dog at shore at all you see. Might have been imagination or a barking hungry seal. Being pretty hungry too you quickly go up to the pub to get some food. The barmaid offers fish and chips. Best along the coast, it's said. And that was the last part of the interactive story, or whatever it should be called. No mutton pie for the collective GameBoomer team in this path, but could have been worse, trust me. And no more choices to make because this story arc is completed. Congratulations for completing the journey and thanks for participating.
