Yet another nice day. I plan to spend it doing as little as possible, apart from a quick trip to the farm market.

Over here, we’re just starting another heat wave - so a struggle ahead for me 👎

Good Sunday morning. Thunderstorms here, but moving out by about 1 pm.

Happy Father's Day, soot, and all other dads out there! Our grandson is taking us and his mom and dad out to eat later on today.

Next Tuesday & Wednesday the weather station say "sun", & then it goes back into the dumper.

Good morning, Danish, Donuts and Bagels in the Break Room. The convention was great. We got to meet some old friends and make some new ones. Next year the National Convention is being held in Orlando. Enjoy the day and hug someone.

Cloudy and a bit cooler here today. We got another inch of rain yesterday, so I'm hoping I can get into the tomatoes later today to tuck stems back into the cages before they get away from me!

Gerry, I have not had the repairs done to my laptop yet. The fellow everyone recommended is on holiday so now I need to find someone else.


As for my water feature, the guys did find a couple of places where water was seeping out, but the owner of the company had a good idea, which is to tie in the line from my irrigation system into the stream so that it gets water for 20 minutes each week, which should be enough to keep it topped up. That will work for most of the year, until we have to stop watering our lawns altogether.

EDIT: Well. I went out and checked the water level in the water feature this morning and it looks like they finally fixed it! I have to give them credit -- they came back without complaint multiple times and finally, finally the water feature is fixed. Such a relief . Now I can finish planting around it.

Good afternoon everyone; Wow, Edmonton & the bedroom communities are on flood warnings. We are told not to use the shower, dish washer & only flush the toilets when necessary. Tomorrow & the next day it is supposed to be sunny but then we are back into rain. You need a jacked up truck to drive into the parking lots in the grocery stores. I was watching homes being flooded out on the news, people bringing out soaked sofas & matresses. I guess if one thing to come out of this is we don't have to worry about forest fires. The super el nino is not very nice this year.

Good morning, Danish, Donuts and Bagels in the Break Room. Judith, stay safe. Hagatha, our pond in the back yard has a slow leak. My hubby and our boys dug it about 30 years ago. The irrigation system does a good job of keeping it up so the pump doesn't suck air. Enjoy the day and hug someone.

Good Tuesday morning. A nice sunny day ahead here. I've been reading about the flooding in your area, judith. Just awful.

Rugs washed, floors mopped and beds made up... think I'm ready for the Germans to arrive on Friday. I'm hoping I don't have to drive down to the airport. Hubby has an eye doctor appointment that morning and if he gets an injection, it affects his vision. I've done the one hour drive to the airport dozens of times... it's just that I hate driving his huge truck because I'm too short to see anything!

Step daughter and her SO will be arriving July 1. They will be towing their camper from Virginia. We can set it up next to the house and run an extension cord to one of the outside outlets. That way they will have lights and AC.

I'm gonna be busy!

Good afternoon; Goodness Draclvr, that's a lot of work before & during all your company. Where do you get all that energy?
There's no need for us to go anywhere today with all the flooding. Groceries & all liquid in the house, coffee, bottled water & my ginger ale which I'm addicted to LOL.
