Yes, I have come across some of those difficult hidden object scenes already - but so far I have persisted to the bitter end without using the hint button. This may well (and almost undoubtedly will) change as the game wears on. laugh

And from now on, let's post about what we are playing in our "What Casual Games Are You Playing Right Now" thread. I had frankly forgotten that the topic here is supposed to be about difficulties with the Big Fish website. oops

Sorry I started it. Seemed innocent enough to mention the game I dowloaded. Things took off from there. I am curious about all the problems people are reporting on FB. Mine were bad enough, but many are reporting worse problems. An what's really troubling is the lack of timely customer service response. If I ordered a game and couldn't download it, meanwhile BFG has my money, I'd be mighty pissed if I couldn't get an immediate response from customer service.

For whom the games toll.
They toll for thee.

I had a technical problem a few weeks ago and I not only heard back from Customer Support in a timely manner but he also went above and beyond. We exchanged several emails, too. It's frustrating because my experiences with CS have been overall very good and this last experience was among the best ever - no kidding.

I too am curious about the problems people are reporting on Facebook. Being as I haven't experienced any of them, it is hard for me to comment upon it further other than wondering what the heck is going on. I wish I knew.

And by the way, I don't know if you saw this on Facebook or not, but a new iteration of the game manager is coming. It's in beta right now.

Be careful what you "wish" for there, Marian!

My last few contacts with BF have been answered quickly but not if it is the weekend.

I haven't downloaded anything recently but I do notice that I keep getting signed out of the Game Manager which I don't like because I worry then that, that is where my problems will start.

The newest version of the Game Manager is what fixed my getting signed out of the Game Manager - the most current version is 4.0.1.5. Once I installed that, the getting signed out problem went away. I don't ever get signed out anymore unless I sign out.

Thanks for the version number, Marian. I have 4.0.1.2. I always hate doing a new game manager for fear of running into issues. I really only need to be signed in to it if I decide to download something.

Yes, I remember that is why you hadn't updated and I don't blame you for being cautious. Just wanted to remind you that this issue has been fixed. Others have reported that this new version also fixed the signed-out problem for them.

I'll probably go for the update since you said there is now another version in beta. May need to have gone through all the steps before that comes out.

Now that I don't know. Sometimes an update includes all previous ones, but I can't say for sure if this upcoming one is like that or not.
