"Thanks Marian! Just noticed the new pricing on some of these games in the last week." "Yes, I noticed that too. But really trying to be objective, and considering how prices have remained static for so very long (and that in 20 years the Game Club membership has not gone up in price!), I can't really quibble with it, even though I can't afford much of anything already." I don't know, Marian. They're starting to price me out along with all the other issues I'm starting to feel about them. I have never thought $19.99 was a good price. I don't pay that much for my Adventures; I don't pay it for a Casual. I see today's game Runefall 3 is $14.98. I love Match 3 games including Runefall but I won't pay that much for it. I know prices are going up on everything and I am adjusting my thoughts about that but I still have to draw a line somewhere. I admit that I'm not good at just not buying certain games so I have to go by pricing. I am also working on the other, trying not to buy the type of games that I may never play even though they look good. I really wish I could just stop buying games until I play ALL the ones I already have but, you know, that's quite impossible.

And yes, I would be just fine if all I had left to play for the rest of my life were the games that I already have. I think that's what many of us have decided to do.
For whom the games toll. They toll for thee.

Hi, Marian! I'm still seeing Member Pricing of $13.98 for CEs, which has been the case since I first joined Big Fish in 2009. If I'm not signed in, the price is $19.98. The only difference I've noticed is, stating 4 months ago, I'm being charged $6.99 Canadian for my monthly Membership, which is at par with the USD. Like many others, I've been replaying older games and have only purchased 3 games so far this year using Points (Bridge to Another World: Fate of the Seasons, Dark City: Florence and Lost Lands: Stories about the Sorceress, the Prince and the Minotaur. Lost Lands is so long that by the time I got to the third chapter, I forgot what my initial mission was . I'm going to check out Hidden Legacy: Whispering Walls to see what it's like. Susan

Hi, Marian! Other than an unbearable heatwave followed by smoke from the wildfires hundreds of miles away followed by another heatwave, everything is just fine ! I can't complain about the smoke, though, because so many people have been evacuated and will probably return to a pile of rubble where their homes once stood, so my heart goes out to them. I hope everything is well with you. The 3 games I bought this year did have voice. The one I'm demoing now does as well, but the lips don't move. It hasn't grabbed me yet, but I'll play to the end of the demo (which is now 25 minutes) to give it a chance. Lost Lands never disappoints and I enjoyed it so much that I'm playing it again. Susan

That sounds great about Lost Lands, Susan. I look forward to playing it. The wildfires are horrendous. We have not had any threatening our area as yet, but of course it is a concern. Here's hoping we will see several more HOPAs between now and the end of the year.
